See bottom of that note? Nash is an All-Star, but not Pazzy? Wow!

EDIT: And of course it's all over the Pazzy All-Star thread. Cuz I'm a bit of a dumbass.

On-topic:
Hitch at his word = Brass is here to stay. Not surprised someone took a chance on Beech.

Yay Brass, kinda sorry to see Beech go. Sure it saves us a couple bucks, but he's a nice depth player.

I didn't think he would be here so soon....Macster was right, no AHL All-star game for him....

Perhaps he will provide the spark we need so badly..... If Mason, Brassard and Methot all play Friday it will be like watching a new team.

And that may be just what we need.

High draft pick that so far has not realized his potential. Started hot here but faded fast. Called out by Hitch for poor conditioning.

Signed here as a depth player.

At this point, even for us, no loss. imho

Slow, out of shape, has decent vision and passing, a good depth center for those teams that need one, and above all; a failed 1st round draft pick. Enjoy him...

Beech always seemed slow, but smart. Played good positional hockey, and could make some killer passes and set up great chances. However he's had the disappearing reputation since he was part of the Jagr trade to Washington, and did nothing with the Jackets to dispel that. Wasn't good enough to make the team out of camp, played well in the AHL, got called up, played a few games without incident, then all of the sudden went on a more than ppg average for 2+ weeks. Then just as suddenly went 2 more without a single point.

Hopefully for you guys he still has some points left this season, and didn't use them all up already.

Super . I hope that Brass will play more than 15 minutes with one of first second lines (and not in fourth line) and PP. That he will get more chances than Bru.

Who will substitue him in All-Star AHL?

Pencil him in with Chimera and Fritsche, we are bringing Brassard up to get them on track...

To heck with Nash and Zherdev has his Novotny...

It'll be interesting to see where they play him. Somehow I get the feeling we'll see Feds up there with Nash.

Either way, good for Brassard...

I am excited that Derick has finally made the team.

My enthusiam for this season was starting to look like Chimera's point total.

But we're starting to see moves, which makes me feel better.

Thank you Scott Howson!

Now about that top centerman....

Anybody happen to know whether or not he will actually play yet?
I am hoping they will not pull what they did to Methot earlier in the season.

I'm excited to see him, I think it is too soon. Especially since Howson and Hitch said when he is up he is up.

i dont mean to troll, but do you think the team is giving up on Brule already? if yes, do you think its a good idea to trade him back to this hometown and give him a second chance? its good for both him and the team.

Even though this thread is not the place to discuss it, No the organization has not given up on Brule. The initial plan is to see how he has done after 8 games in the AHL. He has played 3 so far, getting 3 goals (all of them in one game).

I like how people from Western Canada all have this idea that if Brule returns to Vancouver he will dominate the NHL. It's not that simple.

If anything, I think the Brassard call up will lengthen Brule's AHL stay.
