OK... I've got enough of this game already.

What an half-assed effort.

Just forget this this game. Not much too say. We have important games coming up against Buffalo, Minnesota and Boston. Games we have to win.

So I really hope we can bounce back. GO HABS GO

Poor play by Koivu on the fourth goal.

The only players that've shown up for Montreal tonight are Ryder and Zednik. Everyone else has struggled.

So, how long will the losing streak last? With no effort like tonight, it could be a long one

It's 2 games, not the end of the world. They will bounce back! Management won't accept poor play.

True, but they were two games that we needed to win; two games against conference rivals; and two games in which we barely showed up and tallied a grand total of 1, yes, 1 goal. I won't even get into the shot counts.

The honeymoon's over. Time for some ass kickin...

Dagenais looked horrible for 3 in a row.
Koivu looked pathetic for 2 in a row.

...

Actually the only ones I think didn't look out of place tonight were Zednik, Ryder and Bouillon. The rest didn't show up, and even more scary, Theo didn't bother either.

This is starting to look like the Habs of old. Enough to be worried. Those teams (TO and NJ) were better than Montreal, but for a while now the Habs didn't bother playing hard and this means we could see the team start struggling again if CJ doesn't take matter into his own hands and try to bring back some life into this bunch.

Very true. These three games this week were a good barometer of how the team fares against the better teams in the conference. It started off so well against Philly but then the wheels fell off. You would think that games against a struggling Devils team and undermanned Leaf squad would be a good opportunity to get 2-3 points at least. As it was the offence disappeared and the defence followed in this one. With all due respect to the Leafs (as much as I hate to say that), this Toronto team without Mogilny, Tucker, Nolan, etc. isn't blessed with very much NHL talent. The Habs didn't even force Belfour to have to play well. Terrible effort two nights in a row. I don't understand it.

we really need someone that can wake us up in games like this.

no excuse at all TO showed up and we didnt, but wow the refs were way off in alote of calls tonight. i wish they would stop smoking crack in there spare time.

Hey Kerberos, I agree with your point, but it's not the hot streak that bothers me so much as it is the unravelling, the effort, and the great swooshing sound I'm starting to hear. We were on a streak by keeping it simple and working hard. That's all I meant.

Leafs dominated but I was hoping for a closer game, not saying I'm disapointed but I was hoping for a game to blow me away.

Always enjoy Leafs vs Canadiens, Forever Rivals, good luck habs on getting back on track and hopefully making the playoffs.

How awesome will it be if we face each other in the Playoffs?

that would be awsome hopefully we could add a bit of heart by then,
this waz one of the worst displayes of defence by the habs this year, hats off to TO for taking advantage though.

once again Leafs fans "outnoised" Canadiens fans for the ... 100th consecutive time ... IN Montreal ... this kind of stuff would never happen in Oakland with the 49ers or Chargers visiting ...

once again he can't win the big game with one or 2 goals ... he's consecrated god after tying the game against New York but can't win that friggin game that would boost the team

Alright. Everyone off of the bandwagon please. Now, hurry up. All clear? Alright than...

THE HABS SUCK! THEO SUCKS! KOIVU SUCKS!

C'mon people, it's two games. Who cares if we were bad, things work that way. Up and down, down and up. With our roster, the whole season isn't going to be one even plane. There'll be nights when we look awful, and nights when everything goes our way. Unfortunately, we decided to stink it up against two very good teams that we all love to hate. The wins will come back, and before everyone goes saying Koivu sucks, how do we know there's not some sort of injury that he's battling, too? Nothing's going to last forever, same thing goes for this slump. Buffalo is getting an asskicking.

Leafs killed the Habs.

Unimpressive effort by Montreal to say the least.

You're right, that's some serious bandwagonning going on right now. Now off to bed I go dreaming that I score 4 goals in a row in the last minute of play to win the game. I might add a hot chick or two in there and maybe throw in an "overtime" period. Good night all.,
