Blues @ Blue Jackets 1/11/08

VS
22-14-5 ________19-18-6

Projected Blues Lines:
Perron - McDonald - Boyes
Kariya - Tkachuk - Mayers
Stempniak - McClement - Backes
King - Johnson - Hinote

Salvador - Brewer
Jackman - Backman
McKee - EJ

Toivonen
Legace (Although, it's entirely possible he'll start)

Projected Blue Jackets Lines:
No idea lol. All I know is that the highly touted prospect Brassard will make his NHL debut on the 4th line and 1st powerplay. Also, Leclaire might get the start if he's not suffering from his infection.

I think a revenge shutout is in order...

I predict a 3-2 Blues win

Backes
Boyes
Kariya

Fedorov
Chimera

I also see a very physical game, the Jackets need to show some balls tonight.

King-Shelley
Salvador-Boll
Mayers-Chimera

LETS GO BLUES!!!!

They needed to show some balls last game, too, but that didn't happen.

4-1 Blues. McClement, McDonald, Perron, Stempniak.

Brewer was very good last night. I might be an idiot, but I'm predicting another good game for him.

I know but they are at home this time and I dont think they will respond as meekly wether they are winning or loosing. The only way this isnt a physical game tonight is if the Blues dont respond.

I think Columbus initiates and initiates early.

5-2 Blues

Boyes, MacDonald, R.Johnson, Backman, Tkachuk

Nashx2

I really like the play of the Perron-MacDonald-Boyes line the past two games. Walt and Kariya have also been clicking. The kid line has looked sharp as well. Andy M may have finally found the right line combos to get more than 1 or 2 goals per game.

This my first prediction on here, so I'll go 4-3 Blues

Blues: MacDonald, Kariya, Mayers and Stempy

Columbus: Nash x2 and Malhotra

Keep it going, boys!!

Stempniak - McClement - Backes has got to be one of the best 3rd lines in the entire NHL this season.

/Kudos St. Louis

Oh, Nash gets pushy with McDonald huh? Well maybe he can talk to Backes if he's feeling tough.

Hey thanx Dru. We agree. I am so glad these guys are playing together again. They like each other and nicely compliment each other.

And it's about time the Blue Jackets started coming around. You guys are doing a great, great job this year. I don't see playoffs in the picture for yooz guyz this season, but......

Looking forward to another heated rivalry.

I think Andy is pissed right now - and rightfully so.

At this rate, he's guaranteed to be back in for the next game. Brewer looks rough tonight.

3 goals against and no transition game. Yeah!!! Good Idea!! After the last few games of allowing 1 or fewer goals , I don't understand that at all. He played well in the last game. I understand with this game being so rough that maybe dressing Backman isn't the best thing to do, but we could sure use some sort of transition game. The whole D has been solid lately. I guess they are do for a stinker.

We should have saved a couple goals from the other night. The only thing that's missing is Brassard scoring his first career NHL goal, since I swear 30% of the players in the league scored their 1st goal against us.

So does Nash dive every game, or just against us?

Unbelievable.

I haven't seen a Blues goalie perform so well on tough shots and still give up as many softies since Turek!
