Decent effort, typical dearth in scoring. Boy I hope Vanek lives up to the hype!

The boys gave it a good try, but they sure got away with a lot of hooks/trips. Not that I'm complaining, but it'll really catch up with them when they get a ref who calls the game tighter.

The Sabres have got to get someone to stand in front of the net if they're to score on the PP. Most of the time there wasn't even anyone near the slot to pass to, let alone in front of the net. I hope Pyatt will do some of that when he's back, but I'd really like to see Peters get a shot in that role.

Looks like McKee and Patrick are going to be out for awhile. I suppose they'll call up Janik and Delmore, but I say throw caution to the wind and go with the Swedish Torpedo style!

IMO, Marty should've gotten the start over Noronen, but I'd expect Biron to face the Canes tomorrow.

Oh well, no more Flyers this year....

Noronen is the starter. Biron is the backup.

Noronen played a Great game and deserved a shutout. Both times a d-man forced the play up the middle and that's why they scored with an odd man rush.Noronen should have been the 1st star.Even when he lets in 2 goals, you have to score more then 1 freaking goal! When is Darcy going to get a scorer.Get Bondra for a playoff push!I would bet that McPhee would take Tallinder and a pick for him.We need a push and we will not make the playoffs with the same Sabres we have now.
