Looks like CuJo is going to Calgary. The pipe dream is over for some of you.

Hopefully we will never have to hear "Let's bring back CUJO ever again."

So Hannu has been sent down(thought he wasn't waiver-exempt?)...hopefully starting fulltime will help him get his head on straight.

I'm anxious to see if Marek steps up and shows he's ready to be Manny's successor. I hope he does!

And, regardless of who's in goal, GO BLUE!

I thought that the reason he's exempt from waivers is that he's only being sent down on a "conditioning assignment" (lack of work). So, I thought this was only for 1 or 2 games to get him more work.

Aha. Thought that, but just glancing at the article I didn't see the word 'conditioning'

I didn't really read it, so it happens.

I think gbake was making a joke. I don't see the words "conditioning stint" in the article either so maybe IB's site was incorrect?

When the SJSharks sent Patzold to Worcester the first time this season it was on a conditioning assignment, and I don't recall reading any transaction that said it was...

Rivermen.net says Schwarz heads to Blues during conditioning stint for Finnish netminder.

So, it probably won't be fore more than 2 weeks. Otherwise he WOULD have to clear waivers, which I doubt The Blues would risk-despite comments to the contrary on this forum.
