Tonight vs Devils

According to CKAC, Balej will replace Dackell...Juneau didnt practice today, he is questionnable for tonight's game...we could see Kilger as the 3rd line center!

Sundstrom can and Kilger can create room, where's the problem?

Why would Kilger play with Balej if Chad is replacing Juneau and Balej replacing Dackell? both Juneau and Dackell have not be on the same line recently..

I'd still to see Balej on the 1st line and drop Bulis down to the third, even if it's just for tonight. Balej will be fired up and has been hot lately, so why not give him a shot at the 1st line? The best part of his game is scoring, so why not gove him a chance to do so instead of throwing him into a role he's not untirely comfortable with?

replace Dackell don't mean that he 'll play at the same position...

Why not put perreault there? Sundstrom - Perreault - Balej
Langdon - Kilger (or Juneau if he plays) - Ward

I'd start him on the third line and let him play some PP and the odd shift on the 1st and 2nd lines. You can't just don't break the chemistry the team has going, Montreal is on a hot streak and both the first and second line have been very effective offensively. Bulis's play has been fantastic and a big reason as to why Montreal has been so balanced over this awsome stretch. I ask you, why break a good thing if it isn't broken? Now this being said if things don't go so well tonight, that's when Balej will get the opportunity to play more regularly on the first or second lines. Other then that if the team is playing well ,there's no need to make adjustments to your lines.

Hope all these little minor injuries don't amount to anything serious. The current lineup has a really good thing going, and everyone seems to know their role. This is critical against a disciplined and talented team like NJ. A loss of both Juneau and Dacks on the third line would be a bit of a blow, but it would give other players like Wardo, the Chad and/or Balej a chance to stand in and show what they are made of.

The earlier experiment with Perreault on the third line wasn't really a success at all, IMO.

Anyway, CJ is the man, and will get the most out of whomever he has to work with these next two nights. In CJ I trust (it is still fun to speculate, but I still believe his decision will be the right one).

Me too. Balej is offense, be nice to see him and Saku together. But I'm sure CJ will make the right decision.

Why wouldn't Ward be playing on the 3rd line as he has been for the past few games?

Hey, why don't we put Langdon there instead of Sundstrom while we are at it and call it our 4th line?

it won't matter who you play because the Devils are struggling to score goals , it may only take a goal or two to win this game.

Do you ever predict a win for the Habs? I'll predict 2-1 Habs.

It will be 0-0 with 40 shots from both side, showing why Martin Brodeur and Jose Theodore are going to the all star game.

Balej is on the 4th line with Perrault and Langdon. Juneau is scratched, Kilger replaces him on the third w/ Sundstrom and Ward.

Yeah, considering they haven't registered a shot on Brodeur yet.
