An extremely good chance that could happen.

But if Brayden's progression from a 15 to a 16 year old was any indication, MSP will have to work for it.

Brayden is his competition for that yes. But judging by U18 hlinka tournament MSP outscored him with 3 points.

That move got old when I saw Eric Fehr and Ryan Stone routinely do it on a consistent basis and put up 100pts and back to back 50 goal season in the WHL.

Not bad though I'll admit.

Points aren't everything. Anyone can argue this point, Schenn wasn't relied on to score for Canada they had 3 other lines to do so, blah blah blah you know the rest

Im shocked to see you defending Schenn.

I know Tavares has been linked with Spezza numerous times for different reasons, but could MSP be Kovalchuk like? If i remember correctly, Kovy wasn't considered the #1 pick going into their draft year. Does a comparison with 01 draft (obviously disregarding Hedman for a second) have any creditability?

Probably an old/odd question, but (especially from a Swede) can I/we get the official pronounciation key on MSP's name...

Ive been using the pronouncation used by the announcers when they played Canada of Par-yar-vee. I assume thats the part you were curious about.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg did the exact same thing earlier this year or maybe it was last year. All in all, that was a disgusting goal/set up... rock on!

I would say it's more like "Pae-e-jaervi". (ae = "a" in Mansion etc.)

Still only 3 points. Canada won Gold, and Schenn was instrumental in doing so.

Argument can go both ways, but means almost nothing. A single tournament will not decide where you go in a draft, nor is it an indication one player is better than another.

You'd be a fool to draft a kid based off of the U20's.

I wish people would use players actual names. At least until they are drafted. It makes learning about prospects difficult for us dablers!

Ä is not pronounced like an A, please don't butcher Pääjärvi's name like Selänne's.
