Did Mario Lemieux drop out of school after 8th grade. I think he did but I need proof for my dad.

If you're trying to build a case to get your dad to allow you to drop out of school, I wouldn't use Mario Lemieux as a relevant comparison.

If you go through some of the best actor's in Hollywood's profiles you'd be amazed at how many dropped out of highschool to persue acting and have made a nice career out of it.

Of course, if you don't have talent that will make up for your lack of finishing highschool..you probably should stay and finish. Unless you are some freakish talent like Mario or the next great Hollywood actor.

6 or 8 made it and 600,000 or 800,000 didn't. The odds are not great.
