I've been saying it since the begining of the season.....TRADE JAGR! It's best for this team. The Jagr era is over, he's helpd this team tremendously in the two previous seasons, lets let him help the most this season by helping to ensure our future.

Jagr could finish with 53 points but if he wins Conne Smythe, he hits the benchmark

I have no confidence that this team will make the playoffs... Even if they squeeked into the playoffs, they can barely play 60 minutes of good hockey... I don't see how they will magically learn how to play good hockey for a 7 game series...

Avery doesn't have a twin brother that we can trade for...

Either Sather has to make a MAJOR move to turn this team around or he can make a major move and deal Jagr for some new assets that we will utilize next season....

Personally I would not be upset if they traded Jagr... They better get a good return though....

No, he does not.

And I agree Dallas would be a good trade partner. However the only guy I'd want is Zubov.

Sounds about right to me.

180-96 = 84 and they beat atlanta last year.

It's true he's short of his pace right now (71 is correct), but it wasn't long ago that he was on pace for about 55 points. There's still 36 games left. 44 points in 36 games is still a very real possibility, especially if he continues to work well with Gomez and Straka.

13 pts in his last 10 games, 20 in his last 15. That's 1.3 PPG. If he keeps that up for the rest of the season, he'll finish in the high 80s (actual projection would be 86.8).

And does anyone think we've really seen him running on all cylinders yet? Maybe he has. Maybe waiting around for a vintage Jagr stretch where he rips off 12 points in 5 games is foolish. But that's not gonna stop me from doing it.

Except for the fact that now he's going to miss time with a bone chip in his foot...

Jagr has a better shot at winning Dancing with the Stars than winning the playoff MVP as a Ranger. He hasn't had a playoff highlight since scoring that amazing goal in game 1 or game 2 of the Penguins-Hawks 1991-92 Cup final.Almost 16 years ago.Jagr should have win the Hart in 2005-06 which would have triggered the option.A major award-Hart,Conn Smythe or Art Ross

According to the article, yes he does.

Jagr will turn 36 in February. He has a no-trade clause that will have to be waived if the Rangers consider moving him. He made it clear he is not looking to leave. But if the Rangers ask him to, that will be a different story.
