I'm not too sure how I feel on the red jersey. I think it would be a nice change of things and could look really cool, but it could also turn out really bad. I guess I'd have to see it to give a final opinion.
Frankly, I'd like to see them go back to our blue unis from last season for the alternate jersey. I hate seeing the old CjB logo phased out permanently; sure it was ugly, but it's a huge part of our team heritage. Remove stinger from the shoulders and go with the crest, sure, but otherwise...

Definately; I never want to forget 6 years of losing
I've mentioned this before, but anyway... I LOVE the hat shoulder patch the team uses right now(wearing a hat with the logo right now)... but I really hope they DON'T use that as a new third jersey any time soon.
I think it's a perfect shoulder patch, but would really almost hate to see it used as any type of main logo.
A lime green jersey with Stinger on the front and the CBJ logo on the shoulders. and a mess load of advertisements like the European leagues. Oh, and Golden helmets. /end sarcasm
I hope Jackets won't take a 3rd jersey, because right now we have really good home and away jerseys to use. I was looking the latest Leclaire Frozen Moment and saw that very minority in the crowds had a Jackets jersey on. That's why I'd like to stick with the current design for many years now to get people on the same page.
Anyways 3rd jerseys got worse in the last years as I think it should be more a vintage thing for teams with decades under their belt.
In the Mooseheads discussion, someone (Macster?) mentioned how cool the "Halifax" looked in script. He, or someone, suggested that the next CBJ 3rd have that, too (no, not "Halifax", silly, "Columbus"!). That sounds good to me. Since the team colors are red, white, and blue, seems inevitable that a red sweater will emerge at some point. Not crazy about it, but I'm sure it will happen sometime. A very retro and simple red, with the city name in white script outlined in blue - maybe a couple of white stars around the cuff, in a blue strip - and thats it. Might be OK.
