When will the coaching staff take charge and demand that Huest STOP PLAYING THE PUCK.

Get Melanson to give him a serious puck handling clinic - he should work on it every day.

Once he has improved he will be allowed to leave his net again to play the puck.

so he just stays in the net no matter what? even if it means the other team getting possession? Every goalie has his strengths and weaknesses but you can't expect Hue not to go play the puck when he has to, get off the Huet don't play the puck train, join the "hey we're not that bad of a team this year" train.

Huet is a better goalie than Theodore, Holmqvist/Ramo, Kipper so far this year, Ward, Kolzig, Mason/Ellis, Garon, Labarbera, Backstrom so far, Toskala, Miller, and a few others that I would say he is on par with. What do you expect from your goaltender buddy? He is an average to above average goaltender
15-7 .923 2.37gaa. I mean really what is your deal with Huet.

Yeah and Huet is 8-1-3 in his last 12 games. That's 19 points out 24.

But....I guess those are based on reality and cant be used as arguments in your fantasy world.

1 in every 3rd or 4th post of his is about how crappy Huet is. Got some kind of complex going on here. It's either that or Huet never called hiim back.

We are Lucky to have Huet.

One of the best moves done in recent time by this franchise was to aquire Huet,
He has been solid since the day he arrived. We need to sign him for a 3 year contract asap and stop the ridiculous bashing and quit the "everything depends on Price talk" No one knows how much he will be looking for next year per year in his contract, and theirs no reason why we could'nt get him for 3.5 - 4.0 million a year.
I LOVE HUET

I love Huet too, but lets be realistic.

He is not a big time goaltender, and he is not going to win us a Stanley Cup.

Price is going to be ready in another year or two, so signing him to a 3 year deal would be foolish.

It seems that Crystal Ball is the single in the UK while Nothing in my way is the single in the US.

Recycling videos..

I like Huet but he will not win us a cup.

He makes tons of saves but its the bad goals that will kill a team in the playoffs and he tends to give up alot of them.

I like Huet, but I don't feel secure with him leading us deep into the playoffs...he has done great in Montreal but I'm not sold on his game or that of being goalie that can carry a team.

Huet will want more than another 2-yr contract.

I'd love to have Huet come back, but the organization and Huet are going in two different directions.

I'm checking in now and I'm glad to see someone else appreciate what Huet brings to this team.
Biased or not, I believe he's the kind of goalie that can leads us deep into the playoffs...I think he needs to work on not allowing strange goals, and if he does, he'll be virtually unbeatable...all the goals, or nearly all of them, he lets in are definitely not the unstoppable types, so if he stops those, there's no telling how good he can be seeing he rarely gives up an "unstoppable goal" cause he's so good.

Get me?
