Where the hell is our defense?? Scrambling around on the ground while our goalie is down, letting the guy just stand there and rapid fire on Henrik. brilliant.

Rozsival and Malik on ice for both PPG's...Pretty hard to support them on both of those. Not sure why Renney keeps putting them out on the PK when we have far more effective d-men.

that play had to do with Malek and Rosival being downright awful, the last 2 goals are all on them not being able to play the middle

How many times tonight are Malik and Rozsival going to let the offense blow right by them?

Boston has had 3 or 4 breakaways because of Malik and Rozsival alone tonight.

Here is an idea. BENCH THEM.

Man, this defense is just awful. We could take five posters on this board and get some scores against this freakin' "defense".

Rangers are getting burned in the neutral ice. Our D looks so slow.

Also, the officiating continues to be atrocious on both sides.

The only thing Malik has going for him is that break out pass...

Otherwise I'd take Staal 9 times out of 10 on the first pairing

Gotta be depressing for him. He has looked very good for about 4-5 straight games now.

Our guys just love to beat themselves. We either score nothing and defend well or score a decent amount and give up bad goals.

you need fast defenseman on the PK, they are the two slowest on the team...

ON PK staal should go back with Rosie

If they're going to suck and constantly let people through for quality shots on Lundqvist, can they AT LEAST take care of the frigging second rebound man going to the net? We were third man on that puck. How do you win any hockey games when you're that? Being second in front of your own net is bad enough.

And oh, it's soon time to bring back those "Dumb & Dumber" avatars for Rozsival and Malik.

The bright side of that is that Lundqvist being on his game is more important in the long run than one win or loss today.

And at least he isnt throwing tantrums stomping and swinging his stick and yelling at his teammates, though his D perhaps could use a bit of a wakeup call?

(Im not saying that to tick you off though- if theres any team with D problems right now BELIEVE ME I know its the Isles lol.)

probably afraid to take a penalty. You know, feel the wrath of Renney...oh wait...there's no wrath.

If this game tells Sather anything, it is that we badly need a stay at home defenseman who is willing to clear the net. I don't know who it may be but I know we need it.
