I see nothing from our first line, nothing from Holweg or Orr or Avery.
I am utterly disappointed in this team. They are lifeless, no sense of urgency, no fire, no get up and go.

Yeah the Rangers are taking too many penalties again, but you watch a game like tonight and you have to think the refs have an agenda.

Surely they don't, but there has to be some explanation for this nonsense.

This is why I despise afternoon games. The Rangers don't seem to wake up until after 6 p.m on the weekends.

Awful reffing today. Either they should keep the same level the whole game and call all those taps people do with their sticks (which they've called on the Rangers twice tonight), which would result in about 4 minutes of even strength hockey, or they're pretty damn inconsistent in their reffing, which is even worse.

If they call Rangers for tapping on players with their sticks, they can find Bruins players to call for the same thing just about every shift.

Have these refs put their monthly salary on a bet on the Bruins tonight or what?

Jagr looks like he's done. Straka and Gomez are carrying that line and Jagr seems to ruin every play they set up.

Avery isn't playing like himself tonight, he looks as if he had a long night.

One game at a time, right? Ok, so maybe we pick it up and win a few more and move up a bit in the standings.
So what...we will not go very far in the playoffs...and forget about catching up to Devils, Monteral, Carolina and especially Ottawa...no one in the conference can match them.
The final will be Detroit vs Ottawa anyway.
If we don't make it into the playoffs (and I do believe there is a chance we might not) or if we get bounced in the first round if we do, then that's it...change the coaching staff, dump some players and go on a rebuilding plan.
I am sick of coming up empty. This needs to stop. now.

the reffing in the past 10-15 games against the rangers has been just awful. in some games it goes both ways, for sure...but for the most part, the rangers are being called for things that either out and out are not penalties, or are so damn minor you could call it a penalty on every shift for every player.

disgraceful effort today as well. they played strong in the first, but again, their play just dips in the second.

Good teams overcome questionable officiating. We just don't seem to want to.

true, im not using the reffing as an excuse for our losses...like, ive never said, if the reffing was even, we win this game....

however, its still worth noting just how disgusting the reffing has been.

Stick checking (hacking) seemed to be back in vogue..........I guess it is unless it is the Rangers doing it. It is amazing how weak the penalties are thet they are taking. Still their PP is pathetic.

The players seem to have no reason to NOT take penalties. Renney either has to step up to the plate and institute some discipline or he needs to be handed his walking papers.

Well, at least they're taking consistent early penalties.

Harry Howell was a hero of mine along with Andy Bathgate.
I used to lace my skates the same way Bathgate did.

Anyway, back to the game.

COME ON RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!:yo :

Why blame Malik? He took his man down at the blue line. Where was his D partner on that?
