Going to the game next week at the bell center..first time!!

I'm kinda excited to be going to a game at the bell center for the first time.

It's vs Washington on January 29.

I'm happy I'll be able to witness Ovechkin, Semin, Kostitsyn, Kovalev, Markov and everyone else.

I'm just wondering since my seats are Section 433 Row C I hope there not too far up? Will I be able to see the puck?

Also.. if the habs get scored on first would the crowd still be loud throughout the game? Not only is it my first time at the bell center but I'm also taking my cousins with me (who are not hockey fans) and trying to convert them into hockey fans. So I hope the bell center will be rocking!

Also any gifts or contests going on during games? What's the deal with the "Mechant Mardi" thing too. Anything different?

Thanks in advance guys!!

If the Habs are playing well, yes for sure, but if they are playing like vs the Rangers, you will hear some "boooooo".

And yeah, in the intermission there is girls with canons who are shooting t-shirt, things like that.

Hope you'll have fun!

NB: Im going at the Centre Bell this evening v.s Pittsburgh

You'll see well from that high up, don't worry.

Meh, they have dance contests for like... Fan of the game, but unless you're a little kid, an elderly citizen, or a hot girl, you won't win. They also have a kissing contest, but seeing how you'd be with your cousins, this may not be for you...

The Bell Centre is an awesome place to see an NHL game...even better if the Habs are playing well in front of the faithful...you will have an awesome time, there is not a bad seat in the house, and the crowd is usually very loud...

Dont forget to get drunk as hell and barf all over the place! No true Habs fan wouldnt do that. Oh and hit anyone in the face wearing a jersey that is not a Habs jersey. And make sure you get noticed by RDS with a big sign with Pedneault's name on it.

...yep, that just about cover it.

You jinxed it. Ovechkin and Markov are for sure going to get injured now, before the all-star game of course

What time should we get in our seats? Is it true that the fans start cheering about 20 minutes before game time?

By the way, I'm looking for a Kovalev and Kostitsyn t shirt, does the bell center have any? How much is it?

Thanks guys.

Arrive 20 minutes before game time, if you want to see the pre-game videos which are pretty nice.

Do you still work in the Boutique? That place must rake in a few bucks, especially on gameday...I am going up again this year for Superbowl Weekend, I am always amazed at how busy this gift shop is that weekend...The shop is usually very well stocked with alot of nice hats and shirts, stuff you don't see elsewhere...

I went to the Boutique after the last Habs Caps game in Montreal and I thought I was going to get crushed to death. There was a crazy amount of people.

And if you happen to notice a little red laser dot on your person...just stay perfectly still. It's our...laser pointer. All in good fun!
