Blowout: 5-1 Habs. No Crosby + Penguins playing last night + Conklin = blood in the water for the hungry Habs shark.

That's one wicked shot, they would have to shoot the puck roughly 3E+77 times the speed of light to reach that score.

Maybe i'm the only one who thinks it will be a close game. Yes, we are playing very well as of late, everything seems to be clicking. However, we're playing a team who will want a good performance after being shutout last night against Tampa. AND, you have a bunch of hungry young talented guys who will want to step it up and prove they can still win without what's-his-name (I keep forgetting )
Don't get me wrong, I thinks the habs will take 2 points from this game, but I don't think we can take them too lightly.. let's go with 4-3 habs.

He's their 2nd string goalie, Conklin is their 3rd.

Dube on CKAC comparing Ty Conklin's emergence to..........

Kiprusoff.

No joke.

Maybe the worst thing Dube has ever said.

Sabby may be 2 on the depth chart, but he has outplayed Fleury all year.

If he continues his streak, we never know. But yeah, this statement is quite laughable.

A more realistic comparaison would be evaluating his emergence and maybe compare it to Huet's,considering that they both started to emerge well in their early-30s,but
this statement is controversial and laughable at the moment, even if this eventually
happens.

From Habs I/O

[...]No changes for Canadiens. Patrice Brisebois was excused from morning skate. It's reported Breezer had words with Kirk Muller when he learned he wouldn't be playing tonight.
Sounds like Breezer is a little confused regarding his role this season.

Totally agree with you. I was just saying depth wise, not in order of how well they have played.

This is going in a good direction. That direction being us never seeing Brisebois on the ice again.

Smoke and more smoke.

It was confirmed by RDS that Calgary's GM will be at the game at the Bell Center tonight.

I can't find the fire yet but it's very hot, I can't breath and I can't see two feet in front of me.

Conklin will cool off soon enough, no worries. He has NOTHING in common with Kiprusoff.
