Today could be the day that sucks the last ounce of positivity I have towards this season. Sorry, but it's true. With the Sundin-to-Philly talks heating up, and every other team in our conf, let alone our div, go on mini-runs we can't "hope" this is going to turn around anymore.

I know I'm Mr. Negative right now....but a back-to-back loss to an AHL roster that spent no $$$ in the off-season means only one thing: 25 days until Pitchers/Catchers...

Let's Go Rangers!

I look for a better defensive effort today. i don't think the Rangers expected such a fierce forecheck from the B's yesterday. The neutral zone will probably be clogged today, with forwards standing up at the blue line and the D behind them to prevent odd-man rushes (namely, breakaways).

The 3rd line (my personal fave) will score today.

A few places. I work in sports TV so I hear the rumblings and see the wires...this is the best quote I can give you:

"The talk among league executives is crafty Philly GM Paul Holmgren might be willing to send C Jeff Carter and No. 1 pick to the Leafs in exchange for Sundin if the Flyers fail to bring back free-agent C Peter Forsberg."

The crowd definitely has to get into this one and get the team going. The Rangers have to play physical and play every game like its a playoff game. Is Tim Thomas starting for the Bruins again? Hopefully the Rangers will start here with stringing together a few wins before the all star break

Yea...that 3rd line is slowly gaining its due from not only us, but their fellow teammates.

I mean, it's no 4th line...but hopefully it gets some good TOI at home.

Does anyone the ice today at MSG to be bad today as yesterday was that big Trinidad/Roy Jones fight that lasted until 1:00 am which probably took the crew all morning to setup the ice? Just something to keep in mind guys.

If Sundin is traded, the return package will be bigger. He's doubled Carter's production, plus he's the Leafs' all-time leading scorer. Carter and a low 1st rounder would be a slap in the face to Leafs fans and to Sundin.

Don't count on something like that. NHL trades are usually not as big as you think. Remember Joe Thornton. I think the Flyers would have to add one more NHL ready player (like an Umberger) and that deal would be done.

Renney should've used today to shake something up. Like bring another kid up or something (Baranka).

He needs to establish being the Alpha...Cesar Milan...where are you? We need to "Ree-haa-bill-i-tate the coach"

Good to see Struds in over Malik. Had to see that coming after the game yesterday though.
