There is an s before the t. Its really simple.

And the only thing Yvon ever asks anyone is the directions to the bell centre.

Like Huet, where the ''te'' after his name? it isn't there but you prononce it.

Do we sound excited to you? We're just fed up cause he's the only game in town. Actually, whenever I can't watch the Habs on another channel, I watch RDS with the sound muted.

Are you really advocating that "Kotitine" is the right way??

He say Kotsitsyn. But how do you know how to spell his name? Did you ask him?

I think this is trivial stuff. But he IS repetitive.

Dany Dube on CKAC is a better analyst.

What I don't get is Pierre says it the right way, twice as much since Sergei is up, it's been at least a year and a half now, and he still can't say KOStitsyn. Jeez...

BANG!!

and why does he always ask Pierre questions about the replay they just watched? He is supposed to comment the play, not ask questions that the answers are clear as day.

this one mabye ----->

I wrote this in another thread and I'll paste it here because it really summarizes my opinion on him:

I'll tell you why I personally don't like them that much:

They repeat the same annoying expressions over and over and over again. Sometimes, you just know it's coming.
(e.g.: "Ma parole, rien ne va plus, ah ben lala, des que le baton est parallele a la surface de jeu..., on ira pas plus loin, la melee qui eclate"......)

Yvon has no sense of analysis whatsoever. He often seems to miss the key play on the replays. He, most of the time, blames the wrong guy for a bad play, or gives credit to the wrong guy when there is a goal. (e.g.: Brisebois passes to A.Kost directly on the skates in the defensive zone: "Ahh ben la Andrei Kotitsine a fait mauvais jeu la dessus, il faut que tu te depeche a sortir la rondelle........" or After a nice top corner shot by Markov: "Et quel jeu de Latendresse sur cette sequence, qui s'est placer devant le defenseur....."

They are really biased towards Quebecois, it's not even funny. Brisebois always plays a great game, Savard is among the best in the world, ....

There are many other reasons...I surely can't do better than them because their job is difficult too, but they don't seem to be willing to improve, and they seem to ignore are the critics and they think they're the best in their job.

There has to be a way that we can speak up and show RDS our disgust with Yvon Pednault. My two brothers and I hate him so much its not even funny anymore. He always seems so negetive towards the Habs and it really depresses and annoyes the hell out of me. I watched last game on HNIC and the announcers kept on praising our players (Kovalev, S and A Kostitsyn, Plekanec, Hamrlik, Komisarek, etc) I changed the channel to RDS for a second and the first thing I hear is how nothing is working for the team and how they didnt show up for the game tonight. I just cant take him anymore !

They say that on almost every goal.

''Est-ce que la rondelle a touché le baton de...''

this is off topic, but is Kovalev pronounced "Ko-vah-lov" or "Ko-vah-lev" because the MSG commentators pronounce it Kovalov

And then they show 5 replays where we do see the puck deflect on a stick but then Pednault says. "Ah bien non...finalement la rondelle n'as rien touché. C'est un jeu que le gardien aimerait revoir."

God, I hate Pedneault. I really like Houde, but he's just gotta freak out one day and throw Pedneault over the booth and into the audience. They'll take care of the rest.
