Change something, PLEASE!

Why dont we make a change just to make a change? Call up Callahan, Baranka, Pock, Hutchinson, ANYONE, PLEASE.

I see Callahan has 5 assists, 4 goals in 9 games. Does this mean he is back to the Callahan that hits every thing that moves and drives to the net on every play? Or is it a result of him being an AHLer?

Also, try to get rid of Malik, Mara and Strudwick. If you cant trade em, out right release em.

A trade is coming, it has to be cause there is hardly any chemistry on this club right now. HBO line and that Dubinsky line are the only two that looks like they could make good units right now, the other two and D pairings don't look so hot.

I know, but this team is really in need of a boost of energy, and if Cally is back to his old self, he could be a big help.

Yep but easy to call him up to replace 40 year old wingers that don't do anything, or invisible players, or players that are on the ice for every goal against, or goons that are on the ice for 10 minutes that don't really do anything.

That would entail Renny benching certain guys he's never going to bench.

He just won't.

Oh I know, I was just stating what should be done, but Tom Renney doesn't do his job.

Last year he benched Nylander and it seemed to send a message. But Nylander was an easy target.

1st line guy , not JJ , obviously not Straka

benching JJ or Gomez or Shanny or Avery is too controvsal.

Benching the 3rd or 4th line guys is non eventful

No balls

1. See my sig
2. This is not a "team", per se, but merely a loosely knit group of lost individuals
3. Renney has lost the above said "team"
4. A trade may right this ship next season, but this year is cooked
5. Roster-wise we are exactly where we deserve to be in the standings, so be happy
5. See my sig

...

So benching Jagr will make this team miraculously win the Stanley Cup....

Benching Shanahan will fire this team up and win?

All it will accomplish is having a top player out for a shift or two... or a game.

So you want to sacrifice MORE games just to make an example of one guy...

Everyone was thoroughly convinced Malik was the problem... he has been benched all season...

You don;t bench players who refuse to play... you TRADE THEM. Thats Sather's job.

Here's a simple change we could make:

Can the NHL go back to wearing whites at home please!

Exactly.

Right now you make moves to ensure your future.

If that helps THIS year, then great, if not, oh well, its not like this team is on the doorstep of a championship.

They didn't shell out that money to win the Cup this year.

They shelled out that money to have those two be leaders on this team in the future.

Hense the 7 year deal to Gomez and 5 year deal to Drury.
