on an off note:

looking at the remaining schedule, if we can somehow pick it up and get a winning feburary we can definetly pull through in the atlantic.

We only play 3 divisional games in a month an a half from now on. And we arent playing great teams, so all hope is not lost. The only bad thing about not playing divisional matchups is that you have no say in how they grab their points.

But if we take care of our end, thats all we can do. So if we set ourselves up and get out of the basement here, it could be a very painful, interesting, or great march/april/spring

So what you're saying is that for the next month & a half we're only playing Toronto, Tampa & Edmonton?

Orr shouldn't start, that's a simple enough change. Bring in Hossa.

Its easy to call for a trade. But remember the Dumham trade — when you make a trade out of neccesity or desperation, you tend to get fleeced.

Drury has been alright, not awful but not superb. look at the rest of the team, it's an epidemic of mediocrity. sometimes it can't just be one person doing well.

good point, good point. I think Sather has probably been trying to make a trade for a long time now. He is very good at being patient and making sure its going to be a good move. I do believe there will be a move or 2 made, but it will probably closer to the deadline.
