OT: Sharpening skates.

Haven't used my skates in quite a while, do any of you know a good place to get them sharpened in Manhattan?

Only place I trust my skates to is West Side Skate on 5th ave between 23rd and 22nd. The two guys there are more knowledgeable than anyone else about sharpening and go at least one extra yard if not a whole field to make sure what you'll be skating on is exactly what is right for the type of player you are. Don't go anywhere else...they'll do a worse job guaranteed (unless of course you have an NHL trainer you can call).

Never been there, I usually went to Cosby's, but maybe I'll have to check that out.

Mike at Cosby's is alright. He definitely means well. I used to get my skates done by him and he's still a friend but I can't give him my business now that West Side opened up. They are just far too superior.

If the Rangers keep playing like this I'll let you use my wrists to sharpen your skates.
