Drury can be the one from Buffalo

If, and only if..... Straka plays with him. These two need to stay together, Drury played his best game as a Ranger today. He isn't a guy who really gets all that fore-checky along the boards, rather a player always in position near the front of that net and when straka goes into the corners and retreats that puck, Chris benefits from this. Prucha is like straka, he plays good along those boards, he too played his best game as a Ranger.Chris benefited from that in Buffalo, his linemates did the work along the boards.

Drury can be the Buffalo clone, if and only if he stays with Straka

I agree with what you said about the Straka-Drury combo, but Prucha playing his best game as a ranger?

I beg to differ. How quickly we forget how fabulous and dynamic a player he was in his rookie season.

One clone is wobbling from injuries but the other is picking it up.

One line plays one game well, and we say to keep that line. According to our expectations with these players from the beginning, each line should be scoring one goal (except for HBO line). I don't think this is going to happen after this game. Atlanta has been sucking. We sweeped them in the playoffss, and we have beaten them a lot.

I myself have been victim of this, but let's not forget that the key right now is our defense, PK, and our power play. It's our special teams, that has been severely lacking combined with our tendency to get a lot of penalties. Let all of that get worked out, and our lines will eventually start scoring.

Don't keep your hopes too high up about this line combo. As for Dawes, Dubinsky and Prucha they have shown consistent poise and comfort under pressure.

Shanny didn't look too good out there but yes, those new lines, as Renney would say, look "sexy"

Unfortunately i didn't get to watch this one. I watched the highlights on nhl.com and it looked to me that the Rangers were pretty much dominating, am i right? The Thrashers didn't seem to get a lot of scoring chances. How about a quick recap from some of you who went?

I thought the new lines looked great out there as well. Shanny does looks depleted out there though. I just hope has a enough gas in the tank for one last playoff run.

Malik had his best game of the season last night, and he actually even threw a few hits last night.

I meant Prucha's best game as a Ranger this season.

I like how Renney also noted that the Rangers need a little more "grease in their game".

Let's hope for a sexy, greasy playoff run!!

Yea, he seems to do good with quick/deceptive players who can play along the boards and retreat the puck.
