Is that as bad as hysterical pregnency?

Ed Moran's article, mentioning the same: http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/spo...ey/7785908.htm

Could this be a way of using a "medical condition" to bench him and get insurance re-imbursement? Maybe a polite way of saying he sucks, and we shouldnt have thrown so much money at him?

I'm probably a little biased. My experience has been to distrust obscure, unverifiable medical conditions.

Looks like Hackett has won me over again.....that poor guy. Oh well,seems like we won't be missing him too much,but let's hope that this isn't long term. Puting all prefrences aside,I hope he gets well soon. Dizziness is nothing anyone should have to live with.

I hope he has to live with it until his contract has ended. Then I wish him all the best.

Apparently Positional Vertigo is where you have a sense of movement when you're not moving or see moving things around you that aren't moving. Hitch said he could be out for quite some time.

Satellite Hotstove on CBC reported a possible Therien and Hackett for Kolzig rumour,nothing new.

BPV=Benign Positional Vertigo
Typically lasts a few weeks with treatment (meds and exercises).
Occasionally lasts longer, and once treated could potentially return but is an off and on condition. Many patients will get it and not have problems for years.

I was in Philly for the Jan. 16th game vs the Leafs, I met Jeff Hack-job in a darkened alley... Looks like that knock to the head I gave him with the sack of doorknobs did wonders!*

The same thing happened to me after I ate these weird colored mushrooms. I must have vertigo, too.

In a best-case scenario, Hackett's health will improve and they won't have to make a move for a backup.
