freakin lame committee

What will he be doing during the break? Not watching the game, I'll bet.
Gare thinks he's the next Patrick Roy.

Howson...what are ya waiting for....lock him up LONG-TERM!

Who's playing the best over the last five games? Leclaire 4-1.

Legace has lost his LAST FIVE GAMES coming up to the allstar break.

Osgood played five games in January and lost two of them.

Nabokov lost three of HIS last five games coming up to the break.

Leclaire continues to rock the stats... http://www.nhl.com/nhlstats/app

I'd post it here...but don't want to offend the Pazzy haters.

Yep... to be honest, just do something major league Mr. Howson. Sometimes I wonder if the man is even breathing.

we have quite a few players to resign for the offseason, you'd think he'd have resigned at least 2 guys by now, Pascal being one of them

Folks, I completely agree that Leclaire deserves to be in the all-star game.

However, he's not. So, instead of dwelling on that, look at the silver lining.

1) It will motivate Leclaire (if it hasn't already).
2) It will give him some rest. Leclaire is going to carry the load for the Blue Jackets down the stretch and this well give him a boost.

When presented with lemons and ice cubes, don't say: Yuk! Cold and sour. Instead, say: Yum, lemonade!

By around here, I take it you mean Columbus? No, I'm from Halifax, as my profile indicates. Halifax is where Leclaire and Shelley used to play and where Voracek plays now.

Sorry...forgot the
I meant "HF-CBJ around here."
There's a ladymod with a signed Leclaire stick and she's willing to use it.

You guys still hate the french up there, don't you?

LOL. I'm not afraid of Ladymods or their signed TPS Leclaire model goalie sticks.

And as for the French, well, I'm half French (on my mom's side), so it depends on my mood.

For the record, I used to cover the Mooseheads when Pascal played for them. It's great to see the kid playing so well. The talent was always there, he just had to stay healthy. I think his conditioning has been built up over the years and it's paying off.

As a colleague once said, he has "million-dollar reflexes."

You have endeared and protected yourself.
Welcome aboard The Pazzy Love Train.

Pazzy definitely looks more buffed up this year. Anybody else notice that besides the chicks? I love his position recovery time and post to post quickness. Multi-million dollar reflexes to be exact.

FTR: I enjoy French wine, a Napoleanic complex, pulling on Anglo-Canadian beards, and letting the Germans occupy Paris every 50 years.

Huzzah!

This one is for my new fav mod

It will be an All-Star game minus the best goaltender going into the break. Last night was definitely a thumb-to-the-nose...and the icing on the cake.

Hopefully it goes "out of date" fast (i.e. Pazzi gets shutout #9)

Im not sure what all of this will lead to- but for now- it's just fun. Maybe in twenty years or so- it would be cool to see a collection of these "snapshots". Wait until we get a few Cups under our belt- spike the demand

Alas- Frank Miller I am not. (But I did start-off as an Illustration major back in the day at CCAD) I went the "responsible" route -settled for being an art director to pay the bills.

Publicly Pazzy has been non-chalant about the snub. But Rims was on theFan this afternoon saying Pascal was not happy about it. Said Pazzy was disappointed for his parents too because of all they've done for him...the allstar berth was their reward.

Tolle in the Dispatch today said he and several other players were staying in Chicago with wives/girlfriends. "It's cold, yeah," Tollefsen said. "But so what? I'm from Norway."
More from the Dispatch about who's going where.

Nik is "headed for a beach" somewhere.

Chicago is one of the coolest towns I've visited, been there several times when business took my wife and I there several years ago. The downtown feels like one of the safest for such a big city. There's even a cool downtown log type Pub not far from Michigan Street, and the architecture is amazing...
