Are you the same guy who drew a picture of Marc Denis looking back at the net, staring at a puck strapped to a turtle? That was my desktop pic two years ago.

Hey QT- The soft goals used to drive me crazy– but yeah, that was probably not all that fair in retrospect- considering the system/team in front of him. But then again- he didn't do much with his second chance in Tampa. I was shocked Doug would show his face in Tampa after he flat-out ROBBED them.

To help bring this back around...LeClaire and Norrena have quickly and quietly made me forget about goaltending issues. Amazing isn't it?!

Speaking of soft goals- thank god Osgood was in net to make the young stars look good last night. Pazzy would have stolen the show!

Unbelievable

Can't believe they are making excuses during the AllStar game for Pascal not being there...not once, but twice. Incredible. Something about the depth of goalies in the west or NHL. I'm sorry, but if it had anything to do with the depth of goalies in the West, it's not Pascal that would have been left out. Rock on Pazzy. The rest of us are behind you.

I just hope Nasher takes out his disappointment on opposing goaltenders for the rest of the season.

Just like I hope Pazzy takes out his snubbing on opposing shooters.

My thought on the Nash MVP snub is the same as the Pazzy all-star snub, the NHL is making it easy for Hitchcock to motivate his two young stars. "Rick you weren't the MVP because you were on a line with Iginla and Datsyuk." Just like Pazzy I hope they both play with a chip on their shoulder and stick up the NHL's arse.

TSN has a number of clips up with broadcasters discussing the game, and in one of them (titled "Debating the MVP") they basically call out anybody who voted for Eric Staal over Nash.

http://broadband.tsn.ca/tsn/?vid=28416

There's also some love given to other folks they felt did very well here and there - Savard, Nabby, Alfie, etc.

Well the commentators can't very well sit there and say 'LeClaire got robbed.' I think they were trying to mention him because of that fact that he got robbed and were just trying to appease the league at the same time. I'm sure they feel he should've been there as well.

And yeah, total BS that Nash wasn't MVP. Even more irritating is that he could've been named MVP last year too and definitely should've this year.

Great to see that Legace got the Loss for the West. He's the reason Leclaire wasn't in Atlanta, so it's fitting he lost it for us in the west.

On breakfast with the jackets yesterday, Eddie said he and Emerick were told by Versus and the league not to mention Leclaire's snub. He said they would try but would have to add others not chosen to temper the situation.

All I can say is I'll be chanting "MVP" when Nash has the puck tomorrow and is introduced. You know they will do a 15 sec blip on Nash's appearance and hat trick in the game.

Nash grabs 40 goals in the last 31 games and takes the Art Ross trophy . Can't snub him on that (unless the war room steps in).

Burnside on ESPN admits that he was one of the voters for MVP. He does not say who he voted for, but with his history of snubbing the CBJ I would imagine that he voted for Staal. It is towards the bottom under point #4.

Now that I like. Let's congratulate Rick for representing us so well. I guarantee he raised a lot of eyebrows over the weekend.
