D is really agressive keeping the puck in the offense zone tonight.

Sheez....Sometimes I wonder why I bother to watch.....I've had enough of Jiri Slegr......

P.S>--Trent Hunter has been doing this all year......IMO, he and Raycroft are starting to seperate themselves on the ROY.....

I just don't understand.

We have an offensive minded D-man in Jillson who plays very little on the PP all year and struggles now and then (but can only learn by playing) so we bench him.

We then trade for another offensive minded D-man in Slegr who is defensively worse than Jillson.

Instead of having Jillson on the PP, we throw out Mcgillis who has been incredibly average to down right bad all year...we also throw out Boynton who also has struggled off and on most of the year and really, in my opinion, doesn't add a tremendous offensive punch on the PP. And then there's Rolston who hits the net maybe 1-5 shots.

Is it just me or does this not really make sense?

ugg how can sammy be offside on a 2-1

The Bruins better get their head out of their butts in their own zone, cause they are leaving Potvin out to dry...I feel sorry for him if they don't and Raycroft tomorrow unless they make some chages.

you know, i see thornton streaking down the right side on a 2 on 1, and the whistle blows. of course, howie rose is too busy talking about how the referee got hit with the puck, and doesn't say why they blew the whistle. well, i can count on 1 hand how many times i've seen a guy go offsides on a 2 on 1, so that idea never even crossed my mind. i'm sitting here yelling at the TV - "how can you blow the whistle on a 2 on 1 b/c the stupid ref got hit w/a puck???????"...of course, rose says nonchalantly, "oh, by the way, samsonov was offsides on that play"...idiot

That's the Bruins MO...They lost vs. two teams that totally suck, and look totally disinterested this game.....The history is there.....

Joe looks good...Nice bodycheck by Boynton on Blake...

They dominated Florida--but were stonewalled by a great goalie and they have outplayed the Isles so far.

What can I say....I dont think things look as bleak as you all do.

People are extremists. Yes I did say this before their last bad spell.....and the sky wasnt really falling..they bounced back nicely if you didnt notice. I guess after years of watching sports I realize that their are ups and downs in every season.

You guys/gals know something....after not having Joe for three games, it's amazing what I took for granted.....He truly the best player on the ice...Not sure if we just get used to him, but you can just see the way he can dominate....When the opposition can't get their matchups out there, Joe is unstoppable.....Pretty sad that hockey in this day has gotten to the point with all these "shadows"...Damn you Devils! Damn you Claude Lemieux.......Damn you Steve Kasper for shwdowing Gretzky!

Cheap shot.

This may be the first game all year where we don't see Joe complain about being high sticked.

I just want a trdae I'm bored with the vanilla that has become the Boston bruins. We win 6 lose 6 we stay status quo! year after year we lose a good player we replace him with 2 so-so players. We ditch Marty McNostrils we Robe Zaumner replaces him as the most useless guy out there. We let berard go we get Mr. Turtleneck Slegr! We let cupcake hands Hackett go we get Who let thecat out of the bag Potvin. Come on Mikey OC give me something to get excited about do something out of the Bruin ordinary!
