Okay Gainey time to sign Komisarek to a 10 year contract. If Komi keeps getting better let him pick which rafter he wants his jersey hanging from when he retires as a life long Hab.

This game was so weird.

Koivu actually scores.
Higgins actually scores.
Smolinski somehow, beyond all logic, manages to net TWO goals.

We come from behind after two periods for the first time this season.

We beat the New Jersey Devils in their own building... while Martin Brodeur was actually in net.

I still can't believe it.

It fails when the refs finally started calling penalties against it. Maybe Carbo's tirade in the second actually helped.

wow.

As an aside I thought the reffing was a little shady, but on the other hand....wow

I know Saku's goal was called good, but it was a bit hard to see on the PC, was it close?

We were so due in this game.

We had jersey on their heels then get stuck with those BRUTAL 5 on 3's.

Then, Kosty hits the post, Higgins fans on the open netter...NJ was getting all the lucky breaks.

I prayed HARD to the Hockey gods to just give us a bounce, and they responded!!

Damn it's sweet when things even out!!

2nd in the east for points heading into the all-star break.

We're a contender boys, no 2ways about it

Most important regular season win in the last five -- maybe more -- years. And Koivu, let it be noted, was at the core of it.

Smolinski goal 29 seconds into the 3rd period was huge. Hopefully, they can keep up the momentum after the long break.

Ever since you started using that avatar Smolinski is playing well. You realize can't ever remove it now, even if it eventually makes you feel somewhat emasculated?

This game could be very memorable....as Montreal manage to accumulate a record of17-7-3 on the road.

What an emotional rollercoaster game, with all the points you've mentioned, and the absolute pessisism who was dominating the atmopshere and as you got closer to the end, happiness and enthusiasm invaded the board.
