It's been a high scoring affair the past couple meetings, so I'll say 5-3 Kings.

Frolov with the hat trick!

Sami Pahlsson will not let that occur. Sami is the way, Sami is the light.

But seriously, with the style both teams have been playing of late I wouldn't expect to see more than 4 or 5 goals scored combined. At least fromt he Ducks standpoint they have really been tight defensivly. Only giving up 33 shots I beleive combined in the last 2 games.

When the Kings and Ducks play the games are usually wide open. I wiould be shocked if the Kings were held to 17 shots

Oh I agree, I was just throwing out there that although I have no doubt the Kings won't be held to under 20 shots, I think that a 5-3 score won't happen. I would expect 3-2 or 3-1 something like that.

I mean 7-3 come on now.

Hey a 7-3 score is possible. Remember last year L.A. scored 5 unanswered goals, and made it 5-3 and still lost the game? Anything can happen between these two.

Exactly, 7-3 is not gonna happen. Neither team has the offense to score 7

Curious, but can someone explain why everyone on the ducks boards has the same avatar?

(almost everyone)

Well we are trying to get some laughter out of what has so far been a very lackluster and let down filled season. Nothing more nothing less.

Trying to show some team unity. Plus Sami Pahlsson is the way, Sami Pahlsson is the light.

1-1 end of the first period.

Congratulations to Pirnes!!!! First ever NHL goal on a nice pass by Dustin Brown! The rookies are coming through. Welcome back, Brown

Niedermayer scores the goal for the Quackers.

Let's Go Kings ... keep the Ducks at the bottom of the Division.

Beautiful!

Kings start of the 2nd period on fire! Corvo and Avery score to give the Kings a 3-1 lead. Hopefully they keep this up. I'm worried about the lapses we seem to always go through with big leads.

Once again, Frolov shows his talent. Great pass to Corvo for the 3-1 lead. Frolov freakin rocks!!!!!!

Nice hit by Brown too! Oh, how I missed those!

Holy Cow! 4-1 Kings. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuc!!!! Lucky scores for the second game in a row!

Great period for the Kings. Let's hope they keep up with this momentum going into the third period! It is a 4-1 lead after all. We know how brutal they've been with 3 goal leads. Hopefully they hold on to it like they did against Calgary.

Btw, I said that Kings wouldn't be getting 4 goals a night in another thread. Wow, shows how much I know ... they have scored 4 goals in each of their last 3 games! Amazing!

Kings win!!!!!!

4-2

Frolov got another assist tonight. Great job by everybody! Brown looked really good out there. Did not look too rusty. He had a nice hit in the neutral zone. Pirnes was working so hard out there. I am so glad he finally got rewarded with that goal because he deserves it.

The lines are looking set right now:

Frolov - Stumpel - Barney
Robitaille - Armstrong - Klatt

Those two lines produced tonight and look to be building chemistry... actually, I think each line scored tonight...lol

I believe that was a goal for each line. Very balanced game. Didn't pick up ground in the West but gotta keep pluggin for a spot in the playoffs. The level of play from these guys has gone way up. They look hungry. Cech has really started to string em together. Wish someone would've cleaned Simpson's clock. There's always Wednesday. That third jersey is just dismal for the Dux. Black and Eggplant?

Tonight, Pahlsson was -1 with 3 shots and was 5 for 12 on faceoffs, and was pretty much invisible all night.

just got back from the game...

great 2nd period as you know...19 shots in that period...pirnes has some skills guys, watch out for this guy. if given an opportunity, he could contribute quite abit to the team specially with all the injuries...

nice ovation from the fans when dustin brown was announced to be activated before the game...had alot of fun...

all 4 lines contributed with the scoring tonight which is good to see...this is how they all shoudl play with all the injuries...its going to have to be a team effort all the time...

I love our black third jerseys compared to our regular ones actually.

The future looks bright for this team thanks to Frolov and Brown. It's amazing how much difference a guy with only 4 points on the season makes when hes in the line up especially since he only averages 10 minutes a game and only 7 last night.

I'd hate to jinx them but when was the last time the Kings had two first round picks this young playing so great at the same time?

Carson and Robitaille? Love all the rookies Holland, Pirnes, Brown, Gleason, and Corvo (Still qualifies?) I think we forget that Holland has less than a full season at this level. That's fully 1/4 of the team.

EDIT: I am sorry Luc was not a first round pick by a long shot, they were only rookies together.
