lol nono, i understand perspective, and i DID question why he would draw a line when the camera angle is slanted, clearly at that view, he could draw the line, im arguing the case for THAT view, not if the camera was ice level , lol..pretty pointless argument
This whole thread is about Pednault's line from that camera angle.
Or where you talking about an other Pednault line?

I hate the guy, but he drew a line where you could without a shadow of a doubt see that it should be called a goal, because before that line was drawn, I, everyone on the island and especialy everyone on the boards had said "no goal" until the line was drawn, so dont you all go showboating your amazing eye seeing skillz all at once.
But yeah Pednault can suck a fat one.
Edit: I reread the first quote in this post....and I'm not quite sure I understand what you are trying to say.. what view are you talking about when you say "THAT view"?
Actualy unlike a few here I do think they also use the angles from the networks at the game. Especialy all those HD feeds.
True. But they were already reviewing the tape of the actual play while Pednault was drawing his line on a replay...they weren't reviewing the RDS replay that Pednault was drawing on..so the decision has nothing to do with the line.
I think you should know officials aren't watching cable television. There's a video replay centre that controls the replay of aggregated digital video taken from standard camera angles.
Sorry nothing personal, but I pictured a guy reviewing an RDS feed and having to wait for the network to come back from a commercial.
You just proved you know nothing about the way it works in Toronto cause ill bet my right ball they had an RDS feed in there somewhere on a big screen and ill bet my left ball they at least glanced at it once while Yvon was attemting to draw a straight line.
