Hard to know about this stuff for different teams, but it happened as recently as last season with the Caps' Shaone Morrisonn. With Morrisonn he did miss 4 games after the diagnosis, although given some of his play after he returned, he probably should have waited longer to return, the Caps were short d-men and he played.
If he have a girlfriend, she now knows that he cheated her
But if another Lightning player drank in the same bottle than him...
Not necessarily.... there are a number of ways you can get mono that don't just involve kissing... Its pretty easy to spread through a hotel on the road, or at a restaurant, if their washing is inadequate you can get it from the glass in your hotel room, or from your plate, fork, knife at the restaurant.
Mono isn't necessarily that bad. I played an entire season of soccer (a couple of them actually, since I was in more than one league) when I had mono, and never even realized. Mono can be awful too, but some people get it and never even find out about it.
Richards is one guy I would trade Koivu for without hesitation.
Koivu is going nowhere . he 's the soul and hearth of the Habs , and no way Gainey is going to trade him for a overpaid player like Richards . I hate to see all those Koivu haters trying to move him all the time .
