The problem is that Gerber is not the answer, especially for the playoffs...

Gerber had what, one bad playoff? The guy deserves a chance to make up for it.

As for Emery, I bet Tampa wants a goalie...

To me, Ray Emery seems like a guy that doesn't give a **** about his team or his teammates. But it doesn't bother me. All he is going to be is a distraction for the team we are trying to catch.

When I hear these kinds of news, it makes me so happy to have Huet in our team!

Is this the final straw, or just another episode in this saga....

Can't see the Sens continuing to put up with his numerous distractions much longer.

They have to live with Emery, nobody will take either goalie in trade right now and they have over 6 mil committed to them. Gerber is a bad goalie.

Binghamton (NY). Birmingham's in Alabama. I agree wholeheartedly with the rest of what you wrote, though. This isn't Bantam hockey. Emery's what, 24? 25? That's old enough, or it should be, to know where you're supposed to be when, and to get there at that time. If the rest of the team can do it, Emery needs to find a way to do it too. It's called being an adult.

Emery Fined - as per TSN.ca

"That 'substantial' fine the Ottawa Senators have levied on netminder Ray Emery for showing up late for practice on Monday is, in fact, the equivalent of one day's pay, or in the vicinity of $14,705.88."

Another week , another Emery controversy.

He will be gone from Ottawa before the deadline. There is no way in hell that the Sens will keep up with his crap going into the playoffs.

So that means he will be waived because no GM in his right mind would take on this lockerroom cancer.
