If they increase the net size I'd buy the puck and brand it with a huge asterix. That, or Barry Bonds would, for sure.

If they increase the net size, The league will become a joke and I will lose alot of interest.

I already have.

Watching some old hockey and the stuff they got away with it seems all the more ridiculous when someone gets called for nudging a guy in front of the net or touching him with the free hand.

holy **** that stuff was corny.

Crosby saved himself a lot of embarassment by not being on it, with his popularity, he would have never heard the end of it.

I wonder what they would have had Crosby do in that if they gave him a part? Based on those few seconds of footage, I think it's safe to say:

A/ Armstrong can't act
B/ Talbot can't dance
C/ Gonchar can't stand up and look relaxed

Malkin comes out of that best of all (from the hockey players at least) proving that he is very capable of standing still, quietly (in performances like that, small victories are important). He almost had less of a role in that than Crosby Although I think he had a chance to make that ad even funnier. I would have loved to see Gonchar throw the keys across and Malkin just lets them hit his chest and fall to the floor without reacting. That would have had me in stitches.

Thanks for posting that Boardish
