It doesn't matter, its all about some sucker overpaying for Boyle which will happen.

It's good to see him back. Probably too late to help Tampa other then getting them another draft pick.

He'll be worth something now at the trade deadline. Good for the lightning.

Tampa is done, keep Boyle and Lecavalier and get rid of everyone else. Buying out Richards might even be an option if they get a new owner who has money.

when Tampa gets a lead in a game, they should pull the goalie and all the 6 players would stand in front of the net, making an unstopable wall lol

Yeah, you guys need to keep him and trade off your top three not including
Lecavalier.

The new owner WANTS the Big 3. Boyle can go and maybe the Lightning will re-sign him during the offseason ala Weight and Tkachuk for the Blues.

What's the benefit? It'd still be a large cap hit for a player who isn't even on the roster and no assets in return for a core member of the club. I think the Lightning should consider moving Richards contract if the right deal comes along, but buying him out shouldn't be considered.

Boyles back, so that means he was caught out of position and gave up a 3 on 1

The man just needs to get over it and start playing wing. Thats all I have to say about Dan Boyle.

He's already in deep behind the net, so really it's just a matter of saying "what position does he play? wing? oh."

More importantly...if they called him a wing we could bench Karlsson for the 13th time this season.

And then Karlsson can magically come back into the lineup because someone somewhere sees something in the guy that no one else does.

I just can't believe how in shape he was for training camp... you'd think perhaps he gets the physical part in order, maybe he got a little finesse or something to his game.... maybe worked on his hands...

Nope. Just 5% body fat.

Just wanted to note that the entire fanbase doesn't share the poor opinion of Boyle shown here by a few people.

Good for Danny, but posting this was just an invitation for abuse.
