Your actually correct. As much as I love what Shelley brings to the room I'm more concerned about Howson having some bonified options that only an idiot could screw up...

A good article online about Shelley's first post-season playoffs.
Some nice quotes from him and about him from Ron Wilson.

Thanks for the link JF. If SJ continues to lose I don't think wilson will play shelley much, that's the life of enforcers during playoff runs. But I hope he is dressed for the game in Calgary, if so he will score at least a point for his parents!

Sharks win, but so far...

Marleau 0 goals 1 assist
Thornton 0 goals 1 assist

An old trend continues? Stay tuned.

Looks like Shelley is a no go thru the 2nd round.

Kinda sucks. Dude can't do a lot playing 2 minutes a night anyways. So it goes.

Curious to see where he ends up next season.

I thought it was nice to see him on Eklund's top 30 wingers list. San Jose may want to keep him for the regular season--they still have to play the Ducks 6 times.

Maybe if he were in the lineup, they'd be playing better in the second round.

Jody would not play any worse than the guys they are suiting up right now. Probably a little better.

Jody was picked up to deal with Anaheim in the regular season. He provided the muscle that got them though the first round. I did not expect him to play in the second round. Now with them down and getting beat to the puck I would not be surprised to see him inserted into the line up for a road game and told to create havoc at will. Will be interesting to see their lineup for the next game.

I wouldn't say the Sharks players are playing all that bad, as much as I would say that Dallas is playing that good. They're not the prettiest team to watch, but all 18 guys are playing so strong on their skates. They've got so many guys that don't get much pub, that but bring it and make smart decisions every shift. Really hoping it's Dallas/Detroit in the finals.
