FYI, tonight Pete and Terry are doing a "Hockey 101" broadcast and will be doing NO PLAY BY PLAY. If you want the play-by-play, check out 104.5 FM where Eli Gold is doing the broadcast or simply tune into the NESN broadcast (Boston feed) if you have it available.

Ugh - bad call. Dumont is entitled to make a play on that puck. Thomas, coming out of his net and effectively upending Dumont (and punching him in the head several times). It was unintentional on Thomas's part, but it is certainly not a penalty on Dumont.

If Thomas wants to play that way, then truly send the boys at the net.

You have got to be kidding me on that 'call' on Dumont. Dumont goes to the net, Thomas comes out and they collide. Thomas and Chara both beat Dumont while he is defenseless, yet Dumont gets goaltender interference.

What a joke.

If the Bruins and Refs are going to act like that, then we should show them what an actual goaltender interference looks like....

It also doesn't help that Thomas is playing out of his mind right now - we could have scored 2 or 3 by now.

edit: make that 3 or 4 - whatta save on Rads

Huge goal by Radulov.

Even though Thomas looked like a moron for hitting Dumont with his blocker after an incidental play (and should have been penalized), he's still having a great game.

Again, huge goal by Radulov, tying the game up going into the third.

Bruins fan, I come in peace.

Just have to say this is undoubtedly the most entertaining game I've seen in a long, long time.

Anyone feel the same?

Its been a good game undoubtedly, but we have been on the short end of a lot of late/hard hits that have went uncalled :/. Ah well, its hockey.

I certainly enjoyed myself with P&T's Hockey 101 broadcast.

Thomas was outstanding, props to him.

Haha in our GDT we're saying the same thing about non-calls that should have been against the Preds.
But I agree.. it's hockey.. Let them hit for crying out loud

That sucked.

They took the body on us all night long and we simply had no answer for it.

Factor in the Hockey 101 thing\the endless bad angles\split screens, and that was painful to watch in every sense of the statement.

Metro! jerk.

Nice non-coverage by the Dmen tonight.

I'm alright with Thomas not getting a penalty but I don't understand how Chara didn't get a penalty for leaving the welt on Dumont's face with his stick.

Mason and Thomas played great. If not for them it probably would have been a 5-6 game.

Well I like pete and terry but I ended up watching the bruins guys, the hockey 101 is great for new fans but it was annoying me. Plus the Bruins broadcast was in high def too lol

But unfortunately their play by play guy said Dumont ran into Thomas on purpose, which even Thomas said later that wasn't the case. So Dumont runs into him and tries to minimize the impact, the guy starts beating him with his blocker and gives him a shiner, Chara is beating on him, they get zero penalties and Arnott stands up for the team and they get an easy 5 on 3 goal... that was ridiculous.

Having said that, Mason played really well I thought he made some really good saves especially early on... But Thomas won them that game, with getting that penalty and playing out of his mind as well.

This was a game I wish we had Tootoo or Hordichuck, we needed a little more toughness.

And yeah our defensemen let us down in the end, zanon got faked out of his shorts.

Even thought it was annoying to me, I thought the Hockey 101 was pretty good. Of course I rolled my eyes at most questions, but I just took it for what it was. Hopefully some people learned some things and perhaps some new fans got something out of it. I thought they did a good job of trying to talk about some other elements that even knowledgeable fans would appreciate too. Sullivan did a good job in the broadcast booth....

My fiance (she's from up north! ...omg she doesn't know hockey!) only got into hockey after I started taking her to games. Instead of asking me all the questions during the game, she just sat back and learned some from the broadcast. It was great for people like her.

This is why we need Tootoo in the lineup.
Other than one good boom from Weber, we were soft all night and they had their way with us.

And it's definitely sad when the guy dropping the gloves and defending his teammates is 5'9" 175lb Scott Nichol.
