I've been thinking that, but was afraid to say it.

Well, I don't know about that, but I know the crowd on here that tried to say that all this team needed was a full year under Hitch was full of crap. You can't coach talent. Either you have it or you don't.

That Nash penalty reminded me of one my son took today. His team was losing 10-5 with 1:45 to play and he just level this kid just to hit him-he's a squirt=no checking. Smallest kid on the ice and he leads the team in PIMs all cross checking or roughing. Frustration penalty. Game over

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that the only player with any sense of pride at this moment of time looks like Zherdev. I feel bad for that kid. He's done everything we could have asked of him.

Alright boys, give the crowd something to remember tonight. Get a PPG here and at least get them to cheer here in the third.

Shots from the sides don't work often, and when they miss they clear the zone
We need to learn to position to score and shoot

...and then some. Even as his biggest fan, I didn't really know he'd be our best player at this point of the season.

Why can you mention stuff like that and get away with it? I'm jealous I guess, anyway, to answer your question yes. But really it's not Hitchcocks fault we have 10 third liners or lower on offense. We simply don't have good enough players!

To the general public, what does it take to be convinced we don't have enough NHL talent? Next year will be the same unless some smart people spend some big money... If you see Chimera, Malhotra, Vyborny, Fritsche (sadly), and others on the team we will continue to lose.

Long as we're changing lines, let's do Murray/Manny/Zherdev.

We're stuck with Manny. He'll play one last year on our 4th line. The rest of those guys conceivably could be gone.

I see Ovechkin scoring about six goals himself on Tuesday

Not sure why our lack of talent's being called out so much this game. Murray/Manny/Boll has probably been our best line. Maybe two of our "top-six" players have been noticeable tonight.

When that "best" line has exactly zero goals, I think that shows the whole problem.

That should just about do it for this year...., there is an outside chance of winning 6 or 7 in a row but we won't. We can only afford to lose 7 more games out of 28 remaining games-it ain't happin. We are sellers folks!

3 on 1 against Chimera for no reason, Super Zherdev to the rescue

Oh, I agree with that. But when the best line is playing, and the line that's supposed to be the best line isn't playing, I know which one should be called out.

Zherdev ever the team player. Yes, you read that right.

Where is Rick Nash? I think its time for the milk carton again.
