Just thought it could be the official thread for the Super Bowl, (if anyone will be encouraged to post in it and not that busy)...

Anyway, Go Blue.

I'll be watching the game at my dad's apartment in Westchester. When I have gone there for games this season, my record is 7-2 including 5 straight wins.

I couldn't possibly be more excited for this game. I'm getting this weird, eerie feeling that we're going to win. I can't explain it, but I felt this way before the Dallas and Green Bay games too.

And even if the Giants lose...this has been such an incredible run. When we were 0-2, I never could have ever imagined we'd come this far. Win or lose, I'm extremely proud of what this team has accomplished. It has been one hell of a run.

LETS GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!

Forget when we were 0-2. When Manning imploded against the Vikings I really thought this team was done and I would have been fine with dumping Eli. Now though? Wow. The whole team has shown so much. I know this gets said every time ELi completes a pass but I think he is finally arriving.

As for tomorrow...errr...later today. I am cautiously optimistic. Why not the Giants?

Agreed. I fully admit I was one of the Eli bashers after that game. I just couldn't see how any competent quarterback could ever have a game like that. I'm still not sure how that happened, but it's in the past now.

I just hope that he doesn't pull a Kerry Collins in the Super Bowl. If we lose, we lost to the best team ever. But if he goes out throwing for 250 yards and 3 TD's, I'll be extremely proud.

Im a Jets fan. Tomorrow will suck for me. I want the Giants to lose only because, #1 the Pats are winning no matter what. #2 I cant take seeing them win before my Jets.

The Giants have won twice since the Jets last did so I think #2 has sailed.

Can't stand football, but for the sake of the morale of this board, I hope the giants win.

You know, neither can I really. I just plain don't like the sport, Hockey blows it out of the water for me. But, I know a bit about it, and since it's the Giants, and there is food and people coming over my house, I'll root.

I'm a Jets fan, can't stand either team, but I guess I have to root for the G-women this game to represent New York, even though they are in NJ.

I'm a little surprised by some of the Jets fans. Most Jets fans that I have talked to recently have said they are pulling for the Giants just because their hatred of the Patriots and everything Boston is so overpowering.

I've never really considered Giants/Jets a rivalry in the way that Yankees/Mets are. I flat-out don't like the Mets (although it seems like some Mets fans hate the Yankees more than their own division rivals, which is strange to me), but I have absolutely nothing against the Jets and I wouldn't even think twice about rooting for them if they were playing the Cowboys, Redskins or Eagles. I guess it depends on how your friends act.

Although I can relate to the feeling of this being a nightmare scenario since I went through the exact same thing in 2005 when the Pats played the Eagles.

Meh, ill be working 4-12 on the road tomorrow night, which means if the Giants win....i'll get a lot of calls and it also means a lot of paperwork for the noice complaints, drunks, fights, or whatever break out.

If they lose, I get the same....so it's lose, lose for me!

How about OT after OT after OT until after 12am? That would make me happy

I'm a Jets fan, and actually the only NY team I root for other than my own (NYR/NYY/NYJ) are the Giants. Combine that with the fact their playing the Pats, and this is a no brainer for me. Go BIG BLUE!

Myself, i just got into football this year; growing up in Westchester county, i've always been a jets fan when it came to watch them tho. I'm basically in the heart of the lions den, as im a student at emerson college in Boston. Still, gotta stick with the regional loyalty, and I'm gonna be cheering on the G-men full force

No nerves at all from me. Quietly confident and Bradshaw wins the MVP.

By the way. I am extremely anal about this stuff.

It is New York Giants @ New England Patriots. The Giants are the road team. Please change it to the correct form in order not to jinx the Giants road warrior mojo...

I'm serious.

The Jets play in Giants Stadium. The seats are red and blue. The Jets have no identity. They are in the shadow of the Giants. Our stupid trust fund baby owner from Johnson and Johnson threw in the Giants owners for another stadium in the swamps of Jersey instead of building his own stadium in Queens where the Jets belong(instead of the real estate grab he wanted on the West Side yards). The dislike of the Giants is related to the hatred for Leon Hess who took the Jets to Jersey and now to Woody who is keeping the team in Jersey.

Hatred of the Pats?Give them credit for reaching 5 SB's in 11 years. In the salary cap era. It's jealousy. All of the guys were former Jets employees-Belichik and Pioli.
