I don't feel good about this one.
But I do think we were embarrassed on our home ice last game, and the guys will respond to that. Z will want to show his countryman that he's got what it takes.

Jackets 2, Caps 1.

We need a really good motivational speaker...

In spite of everything, I feel pretty good about tonight's game. They know it's pretty much do or die now. They are pros in their own right. If they lay down and roll over (whatever the excuse) then they don't really deserve to make the playoffs. I love this team. I believe they CAN. (I just hope they WILL). GO JACKETS

Has Ovechkin ever been referred to by the name "A-OK"? I thought of that name on my way home from work today...

I need a radio.

One of these times after he hears the '3 keys to tonight's game', instead of saying as he does EVERY time, "Those are 3 good keys!". Would just love to hear Danny say ,"Oh hell, I could come up with a dozen better ones!" (Just feeling ornery..)

Did anyone see how bad Nash was sucking wind there? Someone just asked him if he was alright.

This team is ill. Look how red Hitchcock is.

Pazzy's sounding pretty sharp. Let's get some offense down there to support him, boys.

Is it me or does EVERYONE on that Caps team look bigger than our players?

I think that, for the most part, they are bigger.

It's not looking good so far but if they are all sick then that could be part of the issue.

Peca

My Man, Mike, is looking sharp tonight. Hope he can keep it up. That makes at least a half dozen times I've seen him slap a puck out of midair with his stick! I cannot even begin to imagine the kind of eye/hand coordination it takes to do that... Damn!!!

I have the feeling that this game is going to depend on the Brule/Brassard/Fritsche line scoring a goal or two. They look like they are working together out there too.
