Now of the current young Jackets, and rotating Jackets, who do you like most? Other than our superstar young guys IE Rick, Nik, and Pazzie. I say current, because I know quite a few of you will say Voracek :p So basically guys like Boll, Murray, Brassard, Brule, Russell, etc.

I for one really like and look foward to Brass's future. I hope he becomes one of our best players next year...

I was gonna say Voracek

I don't even know why. There's just something about him that feels so promising. I've never even seen him play, so it's weird.

For the current crew: Russell. We haven't been able to see a player like him develop yet.

Brassard, provided he can avoid being the Coyote's Danny Briere.

It was Russell, now it's Brassard.... They will be great in time.... But I'll be honest, I just hope we can afford to pay all of these up and coming stars though.

Interesting comment... I hope nothing like that happens, at least not before knowing his value.

Boll and its not even close for me right now.

This guy comes ready to play every night and does things 95% of the olayers in this league won't do.

Honestly over the next couple of years I can easily see this kid moving into a top 9 role and become a 15-20 goal scorer. Couple that with the edge and courage this kid has and its a rare combination in this league.

Honable mention to Russell. This kid will be a big time player on this team and in this league 2 years from now.

Voracek, because he had another goal and two assists tonight, including the assist on the game winner in overtime with 5 seconds left...

Other than that, Brassard... I've felt great about him since before we drafted him.

I think it's obvious that I am really looking forward to Voracek becoming a legitimate star with the Jackets.

I also want to see Lindstrom get a full time job with Columbus, and I can't wait for Legein to inject a dose of character into the team.

Weber intrigues me as well, and I think if Mayorov comes over it would be exciting.

Russell...want to see him start scoring, love to watch him skate.
Boll...want to see him get more time on better lines, love his speed.
Fritsche...love his energy and determination.

Easy answer for me, BOLL. He brings something different to the table for us, he's physical. This team (outside of Foote, Tolly) lacks that aggressive player, Boll provides that. He's got potential like a lot of the younger guys, hopefully he keeps it up. I also like a lot of those who have already been mentioned: Fritche, Brassard, etc. It will be interesting to see what Mason does on the big stage... with Pazzy hurt we need a goalie to help us out and Freddy hasn't been looking real hot. (Which I wouldn't blame on him, our D has been BAD)

Good question....I love the quickness that Russell brings to the game and hits that Methot has had but when you hear the board going boom on the other end of the ice and the sound just echoes through the building, a smile comes to my face cause I know Boll is on the ice. He just goes all out when he's out there and gives as good as he takes. He may not be the most talented guy out there but, damn, he's fun to watch.

Legein, no doubt. Energy-wise, he's a lot like Boll, but he has more offensive upside.

If they truly become "stars," then we'll win with them. If we win, we'll be able to afford them.
