Chris Conner

Hey guys,

I would like to know a little bit more about Chris Conner. What would be his potential? Upside ? Weaknesses? etc...

Potential: I don't see any real potential due to his weaknesses.

He's a very fast winger who is more of a shooter, but he's entirely too small and too easily pushed off the puck to amount to anything in my opinion. If he had a better shot, I might be inclined to write his upside was that of a top six guy. However, since that is not the case and given his lack of size while he tries to play a gritty game (very admirable by the way), it makes him less likely to find a spot on a lower line. I don't believe he'll ever be anything in the NHL.

I might be the only one on here as down on him as I am, but I just don't see anything more than a guy that people wish could hit a late growth spurt. He's got tons of heart and he works incredibly hard, but he cannot make up for his lack of size.

If his hands ever catch up to his speed, then he might be able to be useful, he also needs to work on protecting the puck, there's no reason weak poke checks should make anyone lose the puck.

He's fast. But other than that he isn't particularly good at hockey.
