Potential: I don't see any real potential due to his weaknesses.
He's a very fast winger who is more of a shooter, but he's entirely too small and too easily pushed off the puck to amount to anything in my opinion. If he had a better shot, I might be inclined to write his upside was that of a top six guy. However, since that is not the case and given his lack of size while he tries to play a gritty game (very admirable by the way), it makes him less likely to find a spot on a lower line. I don't believe he'll ever be anything in the NHL.
I might be the only one on here as down on him as I am, but I just don't see anything more than a guy that people wish could hit a late growth spurt. He's got tons of heart and he works incredibly hard, but he cannot make up for his lack of size.
