I was thinking the same thing (about the "jump in their step"). But I am wondering now if maybe we are just playing smarter hockey, and in order to do that, we have to slow it down a bit. Whatever, as long as it works it's fine with me! GO JACKETS !!!

Agreed, I have to give them credit for intensity, they have it. But they seem to be going over the line at times as well. That Weller hit on nash was boarding, and damn dangerous. I know it's a fine line but Nash was in a vulnerable position where he could not defend himself.

About time Gare did something useful during intermission. We need more of that.

I seriously missed that but I was working during the last few minutes.

I want to see that on my DVR of the game when I go home.

Yep, Gretz starting pointing at Boll and yelling at him. Then he let it rip. Kids today! They have no respect for history.

Boll's "comment"

I saw it but didn't see to whom it was directed. I just supposed it was to the Phoenix bench in general.

In watching the Chimera goal on replay I was amazed, that was a damn good move. Geez, resign everyone for great contracts and we will win the cup by April...

Boll was in perfect position to force a penalty, but instead takes one

Not a smart penalty by Boll, however the Phoenix player surely "hammed it up" a bit.

I've seen this episode before... go up 2-0 in the first, then look sloppy and lazy in the second and the other team starts to pounce.

Come on boys, just once let's have a 4-0 game in the second so if we do get a bit sloppy we can afford it. Just once, is all I ask. Just once I'd like to know we're getting 2 points during the second intermission.

I think the team is playing better in front of him as well. They probably have been told to do just that.

I was going to say... I just joined the broadcast, we haven't had any assistant coaches talk about how a 2-0 lead is just hunky dory, have we?

Keep the pressure on, Jackets... Norrena's looking decent out there.
