We Lost a Game

Oh my god... we lost a game.

The sky is falling. Seriously... Listen to yourselves, we lost one game, these things happen. We're bound to lose sometimes. We simply didn't play our best game.

Calm down, take a breath, drink a beer, and tilt your heads up. We've got a top notch team on our hands.

Mitchell

What's with this anger and get this guy out and that guy outter stuff???

If I was the habs I would not concern myself with 1st place. Just make sure you make the playoffs confortable somewhere in the top 6. As for Koivu, the guy is your best player and plays with more heart than any habs player. There is a reason he is the captain. I know a number of top teams that would love to have this guy manning their 2nd line at the trade deadline if you want to move him.

I said it before had it not been for Dany Heatley out for a month (back tonight) and Alfredsson injured this first place race thing would never have materialized. And as far as the Habs and Flyers are concerned it will disapear just as quick in the next dozen games once they get these 2 of the top 10 players in the world back.

Be happy. Looks like Habs will make the playoffs this year other than a catastrophy in the weak east. Maybe if they add something in the deadline you might be looking at a team that can get to the conference finals. Realy other than a healthy Ottawa team, habs are just as good as any team in this conference.

Sorry but its not ok. We lost to the ******* Leafs who are sitting in 14th place. These are the types of games we need to win if we are going to do anything in the playoffs. Every point counts and we can't afford to have the Leafs steal points from us.

Our team is still in a "rebuilding" year with like 10 of our players under 26 years old, and we are CONTENDING for FIRST PLACE. There will be growing pains and the boys will show what they are made of next game, this team has only lost back to back regulation games ONCE this year, expect a better effort on Saturday.

we're not invincible, Red Wings just lost to LA, and lost to Chicago, CJB, Edmonton, etc.

I agree with you, but look, we have to aim for 1st place. Always look up and not down. "Aim for the moon, because if you win, you'll land among the stars".

In the playoffs there are no teams like the Leafs so you don;'t have to worry about taking anybody lightly.

After Saturday Habs will have lost 3 of the last 4 games.
Only one line is working right now.
All the other lines look like 4th lines.

It's legitimate to be worried right now.

It's, of course, no panic time but we will need contribution from some other players than Kovy and Pleks.

On one hand I agree with you but you have to agree that those two lost were frustrating. We were leadng by 3 against the Rangers and we lost against the Leafs... It's sad but we are not at 67 points now for nothing this team is good.

This is from a Canucks fan and I feel your pain from losing to crappy teams (LA 3 times and Tampa once). However, losing to crappy teams and beating good teams is much better than just beating up on the crappy teams to make the playoffs. At least you know once you get into the playoffs that you have and can beat good teams rather than just thinking, "Wow, we've only beaten non-playoff teams. How in the hell are we going to compeat with these guys?" Just a non-Canadiens fans opinion.

Nope, it is only acceptable to win every single game.
