Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

We will make the Blues sing the blues, because they're terrible and have no good players. I can't even name a single player on their team. Without Grant Fuhr, they aren't any good. They should have never traded Chris Pronger to the Ducks.
That being said, the Blues are a tough team, so this should be a battle.

Go Stars!!!

Blues haven't played since Tuesday? That's officially rust territory.

Someone please keep an eye on Kariya. That's all I ask.

I can say...that through out St.Louis' 7 game losing streak plus this now 2 game losing streak...hell even in their wins inbetween (didn't see the Toronto game but was there during the Anaheim game and there was no reason for the Ducks NOT to win that game. Thank you Manny Legace.) they have looked like a Triple A team.

Coughing up the puck constantly, time after time after time. During their Anaheim victory (where they won 1-0), they gave the Ducks I would say atleast 5 breakaways. The score literally should've/could've been 5-0 within the first 10 minutes of the game.

Legace has looked terrible the past two games but he still has the ability to steal games for the Blues, as he did in that Anaheim game.

That said, Dallas is finding ways to win in new and in different ways each game since the All-Star Break. It's hard to say they won't win this game.

Give em hell, Big D! GO STARS GO!

We didn't trade Pronger to the Ducks. Edmonton did after we traded him there.

And we have some good players.

Should be a good, physical game like always. I love watching the Blues and Stars play.

Let's hope for an exciting game with some fights!

Good luck, but the Blues NEED to win. The Stars are playing incredible hockey so far though... 71 points... but keep in mind that you guys have played a ton more games than everyone else.

GO BLUES!

Yeah, he wasn't being serious... it's a long story.

Thanks for the info on the Blues Lobo. Has Backman being out really hurt them that much? I thought he was struggling this year.

No, it doesn't hurt us. It helps us.

Mike Smith gets the start tonight. He earned it. Lets just hope that the third time's the charm for Smith.

Well I was wrong. I thought that he was 0-1-1 against the Blues this year.

Stars Live just said he was 1-1. I thought we had lost the shootout game.

My first ever shootout game was against Detroit 2 years ago. Modano had two goals in the game and scored the winner in the shootout. It was the game Turco threw his stick, and they awarded Detroit a goal in the shootout.

Blues have turned up the intensity here a little, fighting hard along the boards. Nice rush for Dallas with a give-and-go between Miettinen and Ribs.

That was a classic, I've still got the video. Everyone thought the game was over and won, I think NBC even cut away to local news or something, and then Modano just came back and made sure all was right with the world.

Some sort of weak call coming here against Morrow... charging? elbowing?

After the replay, I think they made the right call.
