Rangers now lead the league in Shutouts

Henrik has 7, Vally has 2.

9 shutouts is pretty incredible considering you have a guy 90% of the people out there didnt want on this team in Vally, and a guy who isnt a superstar in Henrik.

even more amazing considering we didn't have one from like 2000-2002 when blackburn got the first one in 2+ years

The shutout number shows that we have the ability to play a great defensive team. We need to play with the same intensity as we did today everyday.

If we get a guy like Campbell or Boyle to man the powerplay and play solid defense. We can still go all the way.

It's all because of the system!

Seriously, this is truly impressive.

Look at our goalie depth with the emergence of Valley and Wiikman.

Lundqvist
Valley
Monty
Wiikman(although technically he doesn't have an NHL contract.)

That looks pretty good.

Wiikman has supplanted Montoya, Gernander named him the #1 goalie.

Wiikman was atrocious in pre-season, how much has changed since then? Enlighten me, since I hardly get to see Hartford games.

He's been lights out in HFD recently.

Thats good news, do you think he has the talent to be the backup for the Rangers one day?

If the rangers played as defensively with Lundy as they do with Valli we would easily have more wins. They relax too much when Hanks is out there.
