Went with Byers. It's pretty open ended now. For Zaborsky and Hagelin I'm not ready to put them over guys who have proven themselves in the AHL. By September of next year they could easily move up 5 spots.

Add Lafleur

5th round draft pick of the 2007 draft. He played in some crazy junior league and put up great stats and won the MVP of the league I'm pretty sure. Nobody really knows how good he is though because he was up against unknown competition. He was basically a boom or bust pick by the Rangers. HF has him rated as a 7.0 D and a potential 2nd line center, though he might not even be good enough for the AHL. Who knows. This year he is playing with Western Michigan and has 20 points in 30 games . He just turned 19 so it will be awhile before we see what he amounts to, which is exactly why I'm not ready to give him my vote yet.

On Bahensky he's in the Czech elite league with Litvinov but not exactly lighting it up. 29 games played 4-2-6 with 40 penalty minutes. On that team there are other undrafted forwards the same age or younger ahead of him in scoring. He signed an AHL contract for the 06-07 season and spent most of the year in Charlotte where he didn't do a lot. It doesn't seem to me that he has any chance of making it.
