Weird you saw that, on my cell phone every text message I send it capitalizes the first letter of every word. It frustrates the crap out of me but I got used to it I guess.

Hey, I didn't know John Madden was a CBJ fan!

It's rare (and I mean RARE) that I see a game and think we are definitely going to win. Whether they play Dan C, J-S Aubin, or Barbara, we win this.

Jackets 5 (Nash x2, Peca, Zherdev, Hainsey)
Kings 1

Columbus is going to have to shoot the puck towards the other team's net to have a chance to win today's game, Pat.

MADDEN: I mean, I dunno what Cloutier is doing back here puck behind the net, then watch as Boll comes from outta nowhere and BOOM! He'll be feelin' that one tomorrow.
AL: 3-0 Jackets as we head into the final two minutes.
MADDEN: Didja ever wonder why you can't hit the goalie?!? I mean, he's got more padding on that anyone else on the ice?!?

We should win this game as we are at home, should ride the tide of momentum and are 3-0 against the Kings this year. I hope we stay out of the sin bin though as LA has a powerful PP and that could haunt us. I also wished they played Norrena, he has earned the right with his last two games and another day of rest could not hurt Leclaire. Anyway...go Jackets 3-1 winners!

At least his telestrator skills are better than Gare's.

Madden's merely eccentric, so he can still practice and make use of existing skills. Gare is drunk or pseudo-drunk, and thus skills are impaired.

Remember, Friends Don't Let Friends Telestrate Drunk.

If you mean by drawing circles, scribbling, and mumbling with the occasional BOOM! Then yes he's better.

As for Tarnstrom, how fitting that he will be wearing my number 23

Here's to hoping the Jackets put a number up on the scoreboard we've never seen before.

I'll be there. Bringing out my old Zherdev jersey tonight, section 122.

Gotta win this one tonight. We'll be back in the swing of things and people's attitudes will probably change with a win tonight. Excited to see what Tarnstrom can provide to us tonight.

Carry the Flag!!!!!

Jackets 4 (Nash, Zherdev, Hainsey, Brassard)
Kings 2 (Kopitar, Brown)

LETS GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoot early and often is the name of the game tonight. Don't come out flat after two great road games. These are two points we have to have tonight. I'm 1-0 in the lower bowl this year and I'll be there again. Jackets 5-1. Nash 3, Nikki, Russel.

Let's make Cloutier look like a clown.

The whole Central Division is playing today, and with one exception I'm rooting for them all.

Anaheim at Detroit - Anaheim is lower-hanging fruit, so Go Red Wings!
Minnesota at St. Louis - Either works, but ultimately I'm saying St. Louis, if only to keep the Northwest reachable.
Nashville at Phoenix - Oh, dear. Phoenix in regulation, because I think a three-way tie (assuming this result and us with a victory, we'd all have 62 points) would be preferable to having Nashville pull ahead.
Chicago at Vancouver - Definitely Chicago. We cannot afford to have Vancouver pull ahead.

So, Go Central Division! Except the Preds, 'cause, y'know, to hell with 'em.

This GDT reminds me of an advertisement nailed up at Town Square during the Civil War era. I love advertising and I love the Blue Jackets, so I love this GDT!

Let's see......

*LA has the lowest point total in the league (Brown, Cammaleri, Kopitar, Frolov, O'Sullian, Johnson, Visnovsky, Blake...how does Crawford still have a job?)

*LA has the lowest point total in the West (see above)

*LA is on the road

*LA played last night

*LA is playing Cloutier

*Games played aside, 2 pts could put us in a tie for the 8th spot depending on the outcome of other games on the schedule

Out of the next five games (LA, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Toronto) all are should win/must win except Detroit. We need four of five or Im a seller if anyone is buying. Not trying to be funny, I think that is being a realist. Four of the next five or its not happening with the remaining schedule. The next five actually set up perfect for the trade deadline as well.

Then we'll probably just lose Modin again after a couple of games.

"You gotta play the team, not the record" - Hogan

Who knew he could say something like that?
This says so much about the Jackets also...
