Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Barch signed an extension for the next two years at 575,000 a year.

Quote:
Stars tough guy Krys Barch has done a good enough job this season to earn a contract extension for the next two seasons. Barch will get $575,000 a year for each of the next two seasons on a one-way contract. He is making $475,000 this year.

Should be a tough game....Gretzky has his team turned around and is contending for a playoff spot. Im going to go out on a limb and say (based on the Stars D of late) 4-2 Dallas

here's a chance to pick up two big points against a tired and beat up team. Dallas needs to win these games, especially when it means keeping the pressure on San Jose to win those games they have in hand.

Stars going on the PP for the first time, looks like bad ice today, need to keep it as simple as possible.

Stars came out flat as hell, but as they tend to do started exerting pressure as the period went on. Jovo saves a sure goal, Bryzgalov with some good stops, Miettinen (I think? Pretty sure Razor miscalled it as Ribeiro) hits the post...

that's strange... Ralph thought it was Brenden Morrow :|
anyways, obviously I'm not happy with the score. If Dallas keeps on playing like they did at the end of the period I'm confident they'll tie this thing up and have an excellent chance of winning later on in the game

That usually happens when the time is changed, especially pushed forward. We've always had a late arriving crowd and this only makes it worse.
