As much as I hate Tucker, I wouldn't mind having his grit in our lineup. He could play RW on the Koivu line and toughen that line up a bit. He also isn't too bad on the powerplay either....plus if he was on our team, we wouldn't have to worry about him crying when we play the Leafs.
Anything that will make the Habs a tougher team and improve the Koivu line, I am open to....just as long as it isn't a major move that sees us giving up a good chunk of our younger talent and disrupting the chemistry of the team.
Tucker is not playing gritty, that's why his stats suck and everybody in Toronto wants to move him...Fletcher asked to waive his NTC.
Will never happen tho.
When it has Rumor and Montreal in the same sentence, forget about it, its not happening.
Nagy is injury prone and wouldn't help Montreal, plus he is a UFA at years end as well and he too is far off from having a "career year"...these types of deals are patch work deals, and lets look at the past as well. Nagy went to Dallas and it didn't work, he got a 1 year deal as a UFA and onlyLA signed him and it was a 1 year deal...there seems to be more hype with Nagy than hope.
