Gilbert on the top line?!? I didn't know Doug MacLean was still making the lineups...

Aside from that... I love our games against Chicago, they are always physical and are usually high scoring contests.

Brule isn't on the top line, Modin practiced with Nash and Malhotra today and will go tomorrow

Brule with yet another undeserved chance on the top line.

It's never lasted for long. Lets see how it goes this time.

When will the next influx of HFboard users from Vancouver swoop in damn Columbus to hell for "ruining the most dominant player in the WHL in the last 10 years"?

From Puck-rakers:

Quote:
Fredrik Modin returned to practice this morning. He skated on a line with Rick Nash and Manny Malhotra.

Ole-Kristian Tollefsen also returned to practice, but he’s wearing a bright yellow non-contact jersey.

Rest of the lines

Chimera-Peca- Zherdev
Lindstrom-Brassard-Brule
Murray-Novotny-Boll

Probably when they play in Western Canada next... 'Nucks fans are notorious for straying to other teams GDT's

I like Lindstrom and Brassard together, but maybe put some experience on that line, Fritsche maybe?

While he hasn't been awe inspiring, he has been better since his callup. Might has well take a look.

Didn't see Modin in the lineup, even though people seemed to indicate he might play. First game back, Hitch usually gives them lower lines to start and ramps it up as the game goes on.

If Hitch is consistant, Brule will end up being "situational" on the top line and will likely get less minutes as the game goes on.

Should be fun.

If Brule does in fact start the game on the top line with Nasher, i wouldn't call it undeserved. I see it as a potential way to give Brule a kick start.

If not, 'Cuse him.

He's played better since the callup, he's actually has a pulse out there sometimes. He should be in the 'Cuse now.

I'm not going to argue that he's looked better since coming back up, but he still isn't putting points on the board.

He hasn't scored a point since December 1st. (an assist)

No arguments here... Lindstrom would be better served on the top line rather than Brule.
Everytime I go over what Brule's done since he was drafted and all the players that are now making an impact with this team, he seems to not really fit in the plans.

Once again, Brule is not on the top line. I have no idea where that info was gotten because it wasn't from the Dispatch.

I just fixed it. Though it will probably change 5 minutes into the game anyways.

Good point, when looking at the 3rd and 4th lines, with the exception of Novotny, I have a hard time seeing an NHL lineup. Granted, in two or three years or so some of those guys might be stars but as of today-half of our lineup is barely NHL ready.

Folks, we're opening GDTs way too early. I think anything before eight is pushing it. But this one didn't even take place on the calender day of the game.

I understand that these are critical games (and eagerly anticipate the two threads saying that) but I don't really don't want GDT's a week before a game.

Taking bets on whether Samkow was hoping to make one for tomorrow.

Dan Fritsche, who’s returning from the flu, and David Vyborny, were in bright blue jerseys. Stay tuned.
What`s relate Brule. I`m former swimmer. After EVERY discipline we must change one`s cloths into dry swim suit , we had to get into T-Shirt, jogging suit and sucks. And we often swimmed 3-4 discipline daily. We had to train to were in "calorifacient temperature". And say me me how will player play, who plays about 6 - 8 minutes without PP and who isn`t in tempo (he isn`t in "calorifacient temperature") , who is afraid every his bad assist or another mistake will get less ice-time?
