This is a true must win game. If we lose we have to consider becoming sellers and call this the most successful year in the history of the franchise.

May I ask why Norrena is not playing tonight? Two strong road games and no recognition? Pascal hasn't won all month, and hasn't looked great doing it either. Norrena was great on back-to-back road games.

Maybe Freddie will get to do the road show again over the next week.

I tend to agree with you. The games leading up to the d/l are tough, and I think the buyer/seller question will be pretty clear by the 26th. We've given up points in games we should have won. Tonight is another opportunity to stay afloat. Hope it's not squandered. I'll be to the game late, but I'll be there.

perhaps the more pertinent question would be, Why didn't Norrena play vs LA. But in the end, we have a great tandem thats got a 1.33 GAA over the past 3 games, 2 of which were road games that Norrena yielded only a single goal in each of. I'm confident in both of our tenders, and Leclaire, statistically, shuts out his opponent almost 25% of the time.

Think about that, we basically have a 1 in 4 chance of winning when he starts based on his performance alone. He is our #1, and he is healthy.

because Freddie has been good all of 2 games this year, pascal has been the more solid goalie.

I don't know about only 2 games, 2.62 gaa over 26 games is pretty solid(21st in the league), but I agree...Pascal is the top dog.

It's not like Ty Conklin is our back-up. I figured Norrena didn't start against LA becuase of resting after his back-to-back. I thought he'd play tonight after resting and since Leclaire lost on Sunday.

Ty Conklin should be excused from these types of comments. He's a good goalie.

Although if he played when he was here like he is now in Pittsburgh we may not pick up a Freddy No

IMO, Leclaire should get the start tonight, he's the number 1.

I won't be able to watch tonight as Pens have priority but I'll be tuning in during breaks. GO JACKETS GO!

We could possibly go with 7 defensemen. Bad idea, IMO.

I think Hitch will continue to try different things with Vybes to try to get him going before he sits him.

He played very well with Modin at the end of last season, now that Freddy is healthy I'd like to see them together again.

If it wasn't for Hitch's chubby for Nash and Modin on a line together....

I think Conks came as a free agent after the trade for the Freddies. You're right that he's played very well this season for the Pens.

Free Tix For The Game

Me the femSpoon are out with the flu, so we can't use the two tix we purchased for tonight's game. They're section 203, row G, seats 10 and 11.

You have to pick these up either at my place of employment by 5, or at my house after 5:15. Both locations are in Westerville.

PM me, as I won't be keeping up with this thread.

Where did you see that OKT was going tonight? The Dispatch just said he practiced without a yellow jersey

Is that the no-contact jersey or the about-to-be-traded jersey?
