What's new about it? Don't see anything different save for the lower back...but couldn't you add that there yourself anyways?

And price...probably in and around the $130 they are now. I'd honestly go for the TPS ones like that and slice off the hard plastic I didn't want.

I think that's their gimmick though. The individual blocks are supposed to make it more flexible? They've got it on their gloves too

TPS has been using the same idea for their shoulders: http://www.hockeygiant.com/tpsspr6.html

I guess it could be more breathable with the holes in the padding and also more flexible seeing how they can move independently...but your still wearing like a vest, so idk how that'd feel.

Was gonna say the same thing. I remember seeing something like that years ago, pretty sure it was Farrell.
